Last night's show was totally great. Run Thru and OBH to close the show was positively epic, worth the price of admission alone. Personally I enjoyed the Evil Urges songs the least, which maybe isn't surprising given that I don't particularly care for the album, but I was surprised that Highly Suspicious (whose recorded version I just don't get at all) sounded really good. I don't think they'll ever be able to match the intensity of their club shows and I really don't like venues with seats, but a damn fine performance nonetheless.
Danville, i'll take it if this deal also includes transportation and lost wages. ;D
transportation and lost wages? that's no excuse not to make up to Philly I guess I'll just have to peddle my wares outside the gate.
I suppose not, but i'm also in the logistics stage of planning a two night Umph DC stand right now. Wow, i was spaced last night, Danville is a town in ohio.
Watchin' a stretch of road, miles of light explode. Driftin' off a thing I'd never done before. Watchin' a crowd roll in. Out go the lights it begins. A feelin' in my bones I've never felt before...

One of the best things that ever happened to me was Bonnaroo 04 MMJ when Jim brought the thunderstorm. I hope it doesn't rain on you. But if it does you will figure out real quick who wants to be there.

i was referring to that and this years roo set which featured a downpour for a while.
It was definitely exciting to see my first full MMJ show.
I would have figured you would be turned off by them after we saw Zach Galifianakis dressed up as Ani sing Home Sweet Home. I do kinda wish I did catch more of that set than Super Jam, but we were at least dry most of the set.
