Sorry Nate....he wasn't wearing the boots, although he did rock the cape several times.
I posted some pictures in the other MMJ forum. I think it is in Troo Music Lounge.
Did they play Librarian at any of the other shows? They didn't play that song last night, which I though was weird...but thye played for three hours so I was definitely satisfied!
well you can't expect the cape and the boots...
i'm so excited for Columbus...
and that erykah badu video is sick... i'd like to hear her sing an MMJ song... hmmm, what would it be? i can hear her wailing at the end of "wordless chorus"...

so jealous you got I Will Sing You Songs. I've seen them 3 times and have yet to hear it. It was my first favorite song by them, the ex that introduced me to them would always play it during um, yeah. haha. Good to see they played Librarian, I was scared they were cutting it out, its my fav off Evil Urges.
that setlist looks a lot like the louisville show....
the show always seems to go to another level during and after "dondante".... my god, when carl brings out the saxophone, it's just over... OVER, I TELL YA!!!
I want to freeze myself and be reanimated on Wednesday night in front of the Fox. I didn't really know their stuff until the Bonnaroo set, and since then I have purchased their entire catalog. I still don't know the words to the songs, but that shouldn't matter when I'm dancing my ass off... I'll be flying solo to the show, much like at Bonnaroo. None of my friends are believers yet, maybe next year...

I was sad that they cut Librarian from the Dallas set b/c it is one of my favorites...probably since I am actually a librarian and pretend that Jim is singing it to me

And me to the Orlando show.
Hey, Sass, how many (if any) of these shows have been sold out? At Riverfront I'm pretty sure they were selling tickets at the gate, but I'm curious about other places. In case my friend gets a wild hair after his first mmj show in Orlando and decides we should go to Myrtle Beach the next night.
I don't think any of the shows I attended were sold out. Stubbs in Austin sold out, but they ended up releasing more tix (wasn't at that show last night).

I'd think it's the # of people in Chicago and NYC... Radio City sold out in seconds I think... I was locked out before I even got in And the Garden will sell out I'm sure, but probably not until alot closer... but I've got my tix! ;D

I'm sure that the number of people here makes a big difference I just figured they'd be selling out at least by day of if we were selling out in minutes.
Watchin' a stretch of road, miles of light explode. Driftin' off a thing I'd never done before. Watchin' a crowd roll in. Out go the lights it begins. A feelin' in my bones I've never felt before...
I'm listening to some cobra right now and replaying last night's show in my head. soo good! My friend and I got in line around 4 or 4:30 for the 6:30 doors, but the people in front of us got in line at 3 and they got to go in early and listen to the soundcheck!! I was soo jealous! They said jim james was asking them for requests and there were only about 6 people total inside stubb's! I know they played I'm amazed and Evelyn during soundcheck but I can't remember any more he told me. Pretty cool though!

The only reason Richmond sucks is because we don't get ACL. Perhaps we shall get one of those swanky DVD's out of that. And where is Run Thru or Phone Went West.

I would bet a lot of money that they can't sell out MSG on NYE....they're no where near big enough (like em or not) to sell that many tickets on a normal night...let alone on a night when there are a million other things to do in town...
Out of curiosity, have they EVER sold 20,000+ tickets for their own show anywhere?
EDIT: New info....which makes the show more likely to "sell out" but also proves my point about the band not being big enough to sell out the Garden....25% of the building's seats are NOT going to be used/sold for this concert. The 400 level will be closed off and dark for the show.
