I filled up my tank yesterday at $3.75 a gal. Cost my pocket $65 dollars. I only drive maybe 5 miles to work so that should last me. I bought a motorcycle a couple years ago and it gets like 100 miles to the gallon so I have been riding it on sunny days.
A friend of mine told me some crazy ways to save gas. Like driving barefoot and riding on the white or yellow lines b/c of lower friction. She might do this b/c she drives an '08 Yukon, which pretty much just drinks the gas. But I don't want to sideswipe someone being shoe less, try explaining that to the cops.

can you explain the barefoot theory? I'm struggling to see how that could help...
Seems to me the "less friction on the white/yellow line" argument would be bacwards. Wouldn't you want more friction between the tire and the road so you'd get less tire spin? Less friction means you'd spent more gas acceleratng and decelerating.
I do tend to walk barefoot on the painted lines in the summer as they are cooler than the hot asphalt. ;D And walking saves gas so...

I tend to always drive barefoot in the summer anyway - and I think the actual theory on that is that you have more control over the acceleration and therefore are not "goosing" the gas pedal because you can feel the car's response better
So I did the math and it turns out that it is slightly cheaper to rent a 35+ mpg car versus riding down there in my friend's whip (yes, I just used whip) and buying tons of gas. Plus it's earth friendlier.

Okay, so I've been trying my own little experiment.
The 65 mph thing works. I set my car to show my average MPG, and drove 65 every time I got on the interstate. I literally kept watching my average MPG go up the whole time. SO...slow it down...save gas!
This word also has a underground meaning once you break it down. Let’s take “Bonn” for example and it actually turns into the word “Bone”. We all know gays use this word to describe the action of when they are fecal fisting their Cuban cabana boy at their sex bath house parties. Now let’s look at Roo, “Roo” is short for “Kangaroo”.So put the full true message together and you get“Bone a Kangaroo
