Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
I prefer a much simpler, and frankly more fun, method. Last year I just took a bottle of body wash and shampoo into Centeroo one evening, and I showered in the mushroom fountain. It was a blast, not too cold, and I got crazy clean. Highly recommended.
What day did you do this? I can see maybe doing it on thursday. I've actually never even been in the fountain because I find it way too disgusting. You'd prob stay cleaner if you didn't shower at all vs. showering in that cesspool.

^^ I did it on Saturday I believe. It was my only shower for the weekend (though I didn't get there until Friday). And if you think about it, it's no worse than using river water to wash off while camping.
i built this portable shower just for bonnaroo. its powered by the cigarette lighter or any 12 v power source. it use about 1 gpm. i used a submersible bilge pump to sink inside the bucket. it has 12 ft of line so i can snake the shower head inside a shower tent with no problems.

I built a a portable shower using a HVAC condensate pump I had laying around which worked very well but I still had to haul water for the system so I found it easier just to take a hose to the water station (troughs) and wash there. No need to worry about where the run-off goes that way either.

Took a shower twice last year in the stalls(Friday morning and Sunday morning). Well worth the cost.
The water wasn't hot(lukewarm at best), but the lines were minimal and it beats the hell out of waiting all day in line to get access to the sinks.
The stalls are pretty small(I'm 5'10 - 140lbs), and the shower heads are low/weird angle(if I remember correctly) so larger folks may have an uncomfortable experience.
My boyfriend rigged us up a great makeshift shower a few years back and I love it!
He bought a sprayer similar (but definitely a cheaper more basic version) to this:
and attached a sink sprayer to the hose. I don't have a picture on hand but that's the gist of it. The water pressure is key compared to a solar shower that only trickles water out (nothing against solar showers though, they come in handy!).

thats a reallly good idea. i wont mind if the water is cold, but i think ill definitely bring one of those and shower in a makeshift shower tent made from a tarp or something.

I'm rocking a 3 gallon pump up lawn sprayer with an adjustable spray nozzle. I plan to fill it at the pod, and let it roast on the car roof so its nice and toasty to hose off with later. Im camping in a group so for the ladies we just string a tarp between the cars for some privacy.
My plan is to either bird bath it up in one of the PODs or take an ice cold shower at the ice truck.
I have a hopeful theory that if one of our neighbors has a solar shower I can trade hauling the water for them and myself for a shower. Think that might work?

I did the $7 shower once last year (saturday i think). it was nice and worth it except that im 6' 3" and had to bend down the whole time in the uncomfortable small showers.
this year we are bringing a solar shower and a small hose to attach to the faucets at the water station pod things.
