This year with the Coup, Lupe, Talib and Chali 2na with Galactic was epic. Will AC outdo themselves next year?
I have a strange feeling we will be seeing an Atmosphere/Brother Ali latenight next year. Atmosphere is blowing up lately and their newest record set all sorts of precedents for an "underground" release. Both these bands like to play festivals and both have never played Bonnaroo (to my knowledge). They are both part of the Rhymesayers crew from Minnesota.
Any other ideas of what they might do for hip hop Late Night next year?
Blackstar reunion would be amazing, as would atmosphere. I'd love to see the Roots come back since I missed them in 07. Tribe Called Quest aren't too old for a reunion, right?
^^yeah, for sure. The Fugees would probably be a bit lower on the line-up than headliner status, but Outkast would get top billing, more or less. Personally, I'd like to see: *Talib Kweli (sadly, I missed him this year in lieu of waiting around for Kanye) *Immortal Technique *Dangerdoom *Gnarls Barkley *Roots Manuva *Del tha Funkee Homosapien.

Immortal Technique The CunninLynguists Nas RJD2 Dead Prez KRS One Jedi Mind Tricks Rakim Method Man / Redman (hopefully together, maybe more of the Wu) The Pharcyde
I have a good feeling any of the above acts would rock the house. I hope that AC/Superfly doesn't give up on the whole genre after the Kanye disaster...it'd be a shame, I really think hip hop can bring something fresh and new to the farm.

I like the hip-hop triple-header format they've been using, it usually conflicts with other things though. It would be cool if slug and murs played a Felt set. Minneapolis has a great hip-hop scene, a little Eyedea and Abilites and POS/Doomtree in the mix would be good too.
I see all of those guys alot though (@mos 17 times) and think it would be cool if Roo went a different direction like Nas, Wu-Tang or Dr. Dre with Snoop on the Which stage late (ala FLips or MMJ slot). If they do keep the current format Aceyalone, Immortal, Doom (if he shows), Sage Francis, Digable Planets or De La Soul would be good new adds. I'm always down for some vets to come back too (Blackalicious, Common, Aesop, Lyrics Born).
I keep waiting for Bonnaroo to bring MF DOOM and Madlib to the farm. That's all I really want for Xmas.
I would love this. Haven't seen Doom yet, saw Madlib in Baltimore on the last stop of the chrome children tour. He wasn't that great actually, probably since it was the end of a long tour and he was burned out. I still want to see him again tho, he's so versatile tho he could end up playing in the jazz tent or do a late night dj set.
