^I'd take just about any other EBM/industrial dance group over KMFDM... love the genre, just have never been able to get into it. Thrill Kill Kult would be fun in that vein.
Totally agree on My life with the Thrill Kill Cult. I even went as far as to send them an email asking if they would even consider playing Bonnaroo.

I have no confirmation or rumors. However, I just noticed all 5 original members of Bone: Krayzie, Layzie, Bizzy, Wish, and Flesh, got together for an anniversary show Nov. 30. They are my favorite rap/Hip-Hop group of all time and I have always thought they would fit the farms vibe and bill perfectly. Especially if the whole group was in for the ROO. I have seen them live four times and they always perform with passion. Once with Krayzie, Layzie, Wish, and Bizzy, and the other three times Bizzy was not in the house. I think they could be a possibility and I'm surprised I never see anyone else talking about them on here.
Ok, just looked back and seen everyone was talking about Fleetwood Mac...My bad..
Anyhoo...
After Nine Inch Nails finishes this tour they wouldnt be hitting the road for a while so I hope they make a Roo appearance.. Any thought on that one?
If that happens then my pants will become pissed. Saw them when they were headlining Lolla at the same time as Kanye and "Fuck Kanye" chants broke out. If Tool was appreciated at 'Roo then I'm sure Nails would be. I'm just not too sure if Trent will have enough energy for such a massive show.
well it says so on their myspace. must be a cafe act. i'm gonna go with yes for now until the lineup comes out and they are not on it. or until they take the dates off their myspace
"Though all has been quiet on the Tool front for some time, a promoter wrote in today to say he's heard rumblings of possible Tool shows in 2009. We'll keep an eye on this and keep you all posted."

Perhaps as many have stated the play a year, off a year thing could happen with Tool. I'd love to see them back there again, it was an experience like no other.
If not Tool I'd love more then anything to see Puscifer. That'd be kind of crazy to see how it plays out live, sort of like trying to get all the members of The Gorillaz (as I posted a few pages back) together.
Speaking of Tool though, there was rumors Tool might play Langerado, can I say that here or is it have to be like L@^&<@{o? Well anyways the initial lineup was announced and wow what an unbelievably shitty array of music for such a great fest. I like some of the bands, but most of it blows. You know, kind of like how the guys from Dashboard and Death Cab do to each other ;D
I'm sorry that was a little rude, I apologize in advance if I hurt any of the fans of these bands hearts and made them cry in their pillows with the remarks above.

I would not hold out hope for Tool again - but I can see Puscifer being a possibility. They are playing their first show in Vegas on February 14 I think. - this will be the first live performance for the band.
If I were a betting man ... I'd say the first week in Feb.
I would actually guess January. Considering the Pre-Sale ends at the beginning of the New Year. I would assume the lineup would be announced pretty soon after the pre-sale ended.

Is there any reason that Springsteen has been put on the first page besides the fact that people want him there? It seems next to impossible, and here's why. He has a new album coming out with the E Street Band in January, and following that a spring tour (and Super Bowl appearance). The tour will end in May, however, for one simple reason: drummer Max Weinberg must start The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien on June 1st. Him having the free time to come out to the farm only two weeks into his gig is next to impossible, and Springsteen recruiting either a) a new drummer or b) a new band in that time seems next to impossible.
Sorry Bruce lovers (I'm one), but this won't be the Boss's year for the farm.

It's one night on a saturday. I don't see why they couldn't fly max in from New York. I mean he could tape his friday show in the afternoon and head down friday night if need be. It's still very possible.
