Just had a quick thought. I know it's pretty far fetched but what if we saw a Doors reunion band of some sort? I've been hoping for this for Roo almost every year but it has yet to happen. I think a late night 12 to 4am Doors show with special guests would be a perfect addition to Roo. Any thoughts?
as much as i love the doors, i feel it would be blasphemy to have "The Doors" without the poet

i know plenty have said this in a plethora of threads but come on, animal collective(i don't care how packed it gets) playing the last spot at that tent thursday night would be sick as shit
"Love need not be a command nor faith a dictum. I am my own god. We are here to unlearn the teachings of the church, state, and our educational system. We are here to drink beer. We are here to kill war. We are here to laugh at the odds and live our lives so well that Death will tremble to take us." — Charles Bukowski
I saw Rush the last two years, and definitely could use a third! Rush would be great.
i would love to see rush. but there has never been anything that specualted them being there. they would be a headliner and i think they already have headliners.
The clue I would also point to Dr. Dog. I also thought maybe radiohead but to obvious (y was radio highlighted?). Or maybe bruce he had that hit radio nowhere. and all of his albums are like him looking dusty hahaha its early i will work on it

i know they're a "love 'em or hate 'em" band but is no one even considering Rush???? Neil Pert is godly and there's no denying that!
he would be a great superjam drummer as well!!! he can play it all and play it perfectly
I don't see Peart playing Superjam. Peart is the opposite of jam. He prefers to plan out his shows and practice them obsessively. I would like to see Rush on the farm though, they are a great band. I saw them 9 times back during the peak of thier popularity.

I'd say out of those Girl Talk, The Hold Steady, and Fleet Foxes are the most likely to be booked for Bonnaroo.
As my Inebriated buddy walks out of the Porto, he yells out, "Dude...I love this place...bonnaroo thinks about everything...they even put beer holders next to the toilet!"
Had to break it to him that that was the urnal. Good times good times!

The Allman Brothers Band should definatly be there this year as they werent able to make it last year and the have no tour dates for the summer yet and Jack johnson has not tour dates this year and that was one of my very fav shows last year.
Phish + The Greatful Dead + Jay-Z Nine Inch Nails + the Allman Brothers + Weezer The Chemical Brothers + the Flaming Lips + Franz Ferdinand
I don't know who else may agree but I like the Jay-Z idea. Maybe he could show a certain spoiled hip hop baby how a late what stage set is supposed to happen...
Man if Coachella gets Faith No More I'm gonna be pretty pissed off!!! I think it would be even funnier if Faith No More skipped all the fest and just played Burning Man this year. As crazy as that sounds it is Faith No More and it is Mike Patton.
With that said how about some Butthole Surfers and/or Sasha and Digweed.
I saw the Sasha and Digweed show in 07 and they just played and played and played till had to be 6AM. The sun was coming up and I was back and my tent and could still hear them playing. That set was off the hook!!!!
