Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
First off, a lot of Lil Wayne IS a joke, so if you're taking him seriously, you're not getting the joke. I suggest you grow a sense of humor and try again.
i just have to say that wayne is garbage. Nothin about him appeals to me. He over uses metaphores and they end up just sounding stupid. i could go on and on why i dont like him, but ill just say wayne at roo=me prolly not going
This is a fairly stupid reason not to go to a music festival. I'll take the heat, travel expenses and potential for hacking out a lung as better reasons not to go to Bonnaroo over "there's an act there I don't like."
There will ALWAYS be an act at Bonnaroo you don't like. That's why they generally have so many acts playing at the same time...
I would really, really love if these AC/DC rumors weren't true.
They probably aren't. Stadium tour = Virgin Festival. I would say they're 85% likely for that particular festival. They fit the format perfectly.
My guess is the one website quoted earlier probably got its source from the AC/DC bet thread and posted it as legit rumor. So we find it and repost it and suddenly we're buying our own speculation as source based rumors.

Lil' Wayne is not a terrible rapper. He is talented and I give him credit for that, his mix tapes are great. However, I have seen him live before, twice in fact, and it was a fun party and all, but he wasn't that great of a performer. Mostly just a medley of his songs, do half of one, go into the next one, throw in some freestyling. As I said, it was a fun show but nothing that great, he's not that good of a performer and I love Bonnaroo because they usually choose GREAT performers, besides a few not so great haha. Either way, he's very talented, just not much of a performer -in my opinion.
If we want a good rap artist, there are plenty out there. But Lil Wayne isn't one of him. Mentioning him being on the Farm is a joke. Worse than Kanye West in every way to such an extent that they're not even comparable.
I like Weezy. I think he spits some of the freshest rhymes in today's mainstream hip hop. But that doesn't mean I necessarily want him at Roo, you know?
I'd love to see some Mos Def, Immortal Technique, Dead Prez or Atmosphere there. Pick three of those and you've got a late night tent that I'd love to see.
that will most likely be dropped to a misdemeanor assualt with a civil suit being setteled outside of court. most of the time much doesnt come out of celeb run ins with paparazzi, the only one that really comes to mind is Sean Penn and i thought that was like 30 days or somethin like that.
I hope to god he isn't there, I'm thinking they learned the lesson with K.West.... I just can't get into Lil' Wayne though, and I def. love the hip-hop, I honestly think he's just garbage. I've yet to hear ANY song he's been on that I find to be quality.
The block is hot, I feel like dying... ahhh anyways, Kanye's ego shoulda been a huge flashing red light from the beginning. Look how well Jay-Z went over @ Glastonbury, he was a real class act (just like how Metallica went better than anyone could have ever imagined). It is obvious that Lil Wayne is about his fans, the man puts out like 5 free CDS a year. His album leaked so he said, screw it, Ill make my fans another fresh one. The only problem with Lil Wayne is the vulgarity (doesnt bother me but could see it being an issue for others)....Probably have a good chance of him bringing lots of guests though! T-Peezy, Juvey, BG )))
I really do not want to come to terms with the idea that AC/DC may headline next year. That would mean over the course of three years they've gone from Radiohead to fucking AC/DC. I've seen AC/DC and they were ok, but they weren't even in the same league as Radiohead or even Tool. Hell, Metallica would be better than AC/DC. If Bonnaroo books them as a headliner...even if they manage to get Phish as well, I'm gonna be disappointed.

OK, so if I ever see Juvenile at Roo, I'm going to have to ask every person I see if I'm really seeing that.... because I'd think I was hallucinating.
If I had to put a percentage on it, I'd give it 2% chance of Tom Waits at Bonnaroo. I would love it, but I don't see it in the cards.
I'd say 2% is being generous. He tours infrequently and when he does (like this year) he has an elaborate theatrical show that demands its own theater. I don't think we'll ever see him at a festival, at least not doing a traditional "Tom Waits concert."
What about the Beastie Boys in the Kanye West slot...they have a new album out early next year, and im assuming they will be doing the festivals again...they also have the instruments/jam part of them which could fit into the Bonnaroo crowd......
Id also love to see The Prodigy there aswell... I could totally picture a Simian Mobile Disco/ Bloody Beetroots late night set.... That would be perfect.
