i'm hoping to get mine on thursday, but i work till 3pm, and the only way i can get a ticket this early is if i do the payment plan, which kind of sucks because i'll end up paying for the most expensive ticket, but i think the payment plan will work perfectly for me
anyone notice that they're lying about the payment plan?
they say 5 payments of $50, but its actually 1 payment of $90.90 and 4 payments of $50
I think the first payment is the one that actually includes most of the fees - each payment after that is actually $49.00 plus a $1.00 payment fee (I think I read that right)
hmm, this is kinda tough. i'm definitely going to roo '09, but for me, the holiday season isn't the best time financially to buy a ticket. and $210 is barely any incentive at all to buy an early-bird. if it was something like $170, then i'd do it for sure.
i have faith that the line-up will be good, but if i can wait until late january/early february and only pay $225 vs $210 right now, then i may very well do that. but then again, there's the warm fuzzy feeling knowing i have my ticket secured. hmm....
This has nothing to do with your post, but awesome avatar man. Standards is one of my fave albums of all time. +Karma to you.
thanks. agreed; 'standards' is pretty much perfect. wish i'd gone to bonnaroo in '07 and seen them. not that i haven't seen tortoise's awesome live show before, but one can't see them too many times.
ahhhhhhhhhhh, should i go into work a couple hours late to buy my tickets??
decisions decisions...... being a grown up can kind of suck sometimes ;D
I hear there's this crazy illness that just leaves people bedridden on the first Thursday in December until around noon or so, and then suddenly like clockwork they're well enough to go to work. I think you're coming down with that.
I will buy my ticket and I will pay for it in 4 easy payments and one f***ing complicated one. I can't tell you which one it is, but one of these payments is going to be b****. One must also be paid in Wampom.

hahaha so good. I could see mitch being the ultimate bonnaroo comedian. He'd fit in so well. Damn shame.

I might see if I can get this as a X-Mas present as I asked for nothing this year. I'll have to see if those amigos who said they want to go are in for sure.

The envelope won't seal...the stamp will be in the wrong denomination...the mailman will get shot to death...
Since Roo '05 I've listened to both of his discs on the way down to the farm. Breaking up the music with some comedy when I get sleepy helps to wake me up. And now I've got a third disc to listen to!!!
Bummer, of course this has to be announced when I have ABSOLUTELY no money to spare.
Hopefully I can pick one up after a couple of paychecks...it's looking like the payment plan for me. Which sucks, because they're the most expensive, but I would hate to lose the opportunity of not making it to the farm this year, Phish or no Phish.
Woohoo, I can't wait to be a custie poser for another year! ;D

After some consideration I just can't find the scratch or the enthusiasim to buy tickets tomorrow. After 7 years I just need something different for my summer escape. Bonnaroo's become too familiar.
However, I will be kicking myself come feburary if the lineup is too good to miss and I find myself buying a full-price ticket.
John: We don't even understand our own music Spider: It doesn't, does it matter whether we understand it? At least it'll give us . . . strength John: I know but maybe we could get into it more if we understood it

thought you would volunteer again this year
I'm thinking about it. My only concern is that if there's a stellar lineup, it's going to be really hard to get a volunteering spot. I'm really torn between securing my spot now and paying, or volunteering and getting to Roo for free.

but - since you volunteered last year - won't you get preference?

I'm going for a pair on the off chance that phish, allman, and/or the dead play. If the lineup does not tickle my taste buds then i'll sell them for early bird price to a lucky rooer in feb or march.
Ended up calling, figured that would be the quickest response. Unfortunately, they don't take Discover, which is what we were planning on paying with. Oh well, we were able to shift money around in other accounts so that we can still get them tomorrow with another card.

Okay, so I have decided to go ahead and buy my ticket tomorrow....I am going to a festival in Philly in February the same time tickets go on sale, so I run the risk of not having the money then and like someone else said it'll give me a warm fuzzy feeling knowing my ticket have already been purchased
I logged into my account and checked my account history and I had roo 06 and roo 08 ticket reciepts but no roo 07..... how did I get my ticket for roo 07? lol I got it through them on the day they went on sale.........or did I?
It's funny that you mention the reciepts because I went to log in and make sure everything's good to go... but it said that I didn't have an account with my specific e-mail address. ??? I know I bought tickets last year with the same e-mail and stuff... Who knows. I made a new account.
