If you want to save money, you actually don't need the velcro weight bags, you can just tie sandbags to your canopy legs... but the weight bags make it more convenient.

If you are going to drive in with things to weigh your tent down (as opposed to stakes- not all pop up tents have stake holes in the feet), don't bother spending a fortune on fitted sandbags and sand... just buy 2-4 cinder blocks from your local hardware store, and tie them to the top corners of your pop up. Seriously, they weigh enough to keep your tent down in a windstorm (higher winds might call for lowering your tent to its shortest position and using 4 cinder blocks, one on each leg), and they cost like $2 each. Put them on the floorboard under a passenger's feet, and they aren't in the way at all. Believe me when I say it works... we use this setup all the time for the big pop up tents we put up where I'm employed.
Anyone know the best cell phone charging device to get?..like AA battery powered, solar, etc?
I had a cheapy solar power charger last year; it had the same problems most panels do - it is difficult to maintain an optimum angle to the sun to maximize charging potential.
This year, I am going with this: Samsung 9000mAh charger. I haven't ordered it yet, as I have seen the price a little lower than this; the reviews are almost all positive. Claims to give three full charges to a smartphone before the charger itself needs re-charging.
For roo, I would go cheap. Like something at walmart. Most likely you'll just be on top of it, using it more for padding than insulation. Then get some blankets or bed sheets just to cover up with.

that should definitely give you 3-4. I have a sound logic power cell that's only 5200 mAh and I can get 2 full charges from it. I'll probably end up buying a second one, since 2 charges won't be enough for me. WAH.
Not quite as awesome as the big steel four wheel carts, but for $19.88 at Home Depot, this looks like it could be handy for a few trips to and from Tent Only. Listed at 250lb capacity. Looks like it's normally about twice as much at HD. Great reviews and it goes for over $140 on Amazon...
There are a bunch of tents and cots on sale, too. I didn't dig around any more than that. Ohh plus there's an extra 5% off all that stuff through tomorrow (4/5)
Anyone know if this is a good camelbak. I just ordered it the other day but it seems like it's kinda low price compared t these others. Hoping its not shitty.
ayybigd Which one, the cloud walker? It's a very nice bag. Very back-packy, not very sporty, but that's great for holding lots of stuff while you're in centeroo.

I'm interested in knowing this also. I bought it a few days ago so I hope it's a good one. I already have a Camelbak so this one is for my sister. Last year she got REALLY dehydrated on Friday. It was pretty scary. I'm hoping by supplying this for her, she'll remember to drink more water.
Edit: It's Coleman so I hope that means it's good. Coleman usually is right?

I bought the EZ up Sierra II, 10x10 last year from Academy, and it is great - high quality, sturdy. Not very big but pretty nice. If they don't have it for cheap anymore you can check K-Mart in addition to Sears. Last year they had some good deals when I was shopping for one. Local pickup is option, and it looked like some stores stock them normally.
And while I don't have that exact cooler, I do have two older Coleman Extreme 52-quart wheeled coolers, which I also recommend. You can buy better coolers but you will pay an awful lot more. I prefer to use two medium-size coolers rather than one huge one. I can take one for short trips, or keep one closed most of the time to conserve ice on longer trips, using the other for the day's needs. And they aren't too heavy for one person to move, while one 80+ quart cooler is pretty heavy when fully loaded. I just modified one of the coolers with 10" pneumatic tires to make it off-road worthy. The little plastic wheels work fine in parking lots and whatnot, but big tires are much better for the beach, trips to Tent-Only, etc. Gotta get some pics still.

I have had this one for 3 years. It works great. I did have to replace the bladder after only 3 months but that's what I get for blackout drunk bike riding. The pack is good and sturdy but not too bulky and MOSTLY waterproof.

Also ordered one off eBay. Thought the same thing until I looked at the price of it on Amazon

I've never heard of it. We live right by a Target so we do a lot of our shopping there even though it can be quite pricey compared to other places. It's convenient though! I'm definitely going to have to check this out.

I believe the app is available for iPhone and Android. It definitely saves you money here and there and it's really worth it if you shop at Target anyway. I always justify their slightly higher prices by reminding myself of the better quality of products aaaand shoppers haha
or you could just buy a cheap bottle of sunscreen and dump it out... i do something similar every year... two years ago i used a bottle of "vaginal wash" nobody will ever question that hahah
