Made my initial pile of items. I'm pretty set for the most part. Just thinking about getting a better/newer sleeping bag and also could use some new forms of luggage. Not looking to spend a ton of loot on those items though. Anyone who comes across deals for those definitely post them in here.
Gotta go through my list again to see what else I may need/want.

Ugh. I have been lazy with making my Roo pile for whatever reason. I think I only need a scant number of items but won't be sure until I actually get everything together.
I set up my Quest canopy I ordered from Dicks. I'm really happy with my purchase, the top seems like its a better quality compared to other non E-Z up brands I've purchased before. Some cheap ones are so thin I've had them rip on me right away.
Anyone ever order from Sams Club online? They have 2 packs of those Zero Gravity chairs that are super comfy for $70 which is the cheapest I've seen...but if they are anything like their sister store, they are slow as crap. I'm worried about spending the cash and it not making it on time.

I don't know about their online ordering system, but we have a Sam's we use regularly and got 2 of those chairs you're talking about. Definitely nice chairs

I bought my quest at Dicks 5 years ago.. still holding up nicely!

Unfortunately, the deal is only online...and this close to Roo, I'm not going to spend the extra money buying them separately in the store. I'll have to see if Amazon Prime has a deal that's close enough in price. But I WILL be hitting up Sam's for the Jerky, Goldfish, and Monsters that they have on sale this month!
How much of a difference to sun hats make? I've never really cared for one before, but since I plan on spending most of Saturday at the What stage, it might be time to get one. Anyone know of any good deals?

I'm not sure if you have Big Lots stores in your area, but they sell zero gravity chairs for *I believe* under $80 for a set (the ones I have from there were a gift, but I think I saw them at the store around that price). They are nice quality too, and have a shade that flips over from the back. Worth a shot to look there at least!

Thanks, I will check. And then see if there is a store near Knoxville, I can't fit them in my car until I drop off my kids at Grandmas. They aren't important, we have some old camp chairs, but I was hoping for a nice upgrade this year since I didn't have to buy much of anything else.

I usually buy a cheap hat at like Target or some other store just to have for Roo. Makes it easier to toss it out or leave it behind or whatever once I'm done.

Even better, they have one in Sevierville! It'll end up being about the same price as the Sam's deal since I won't have to pay for shipping and these have cup holders! Woo! Thanks!

Sure thang! I think you'll really enjoy the upgrade! I brought my last year and we and our camp neighbors loved lounging/kicking up our feet/napping in them!

This may or may not be helpful, but these chairs are very nice, and at a pretty good price.

Target has a bunch of random camping supplies and towels on sale, just FYI. For some reason they're also stocking $1 glow toys (glowsticks, glow bracelets, glow balls, glow wands, etc).

I love my straw hat that I use. It's nice and light and protects my face and my neck. You can usually get that at any sports and outdoors store for $10 or less.

If you have the store Five and Below near you, they have some funky straw hats (fedora style) for $5. Target and Walmart here had a lot of straw and light cotton hats out all weekend.

I got some of the glow wands last week. I think I may go back for more.
Also, Wal-Mart has balloons with LEDs for $3 per pack of 5.

Which would bring the total to $87.91 (including shipping) which is kinda ridiculous for the quality of these chairs.
ALPS is quickly becoming my favourite camping brand. I got a camping chair from them last year called the King Kong chair. I got it for $50. It has a lifetime warranty and is rated to hold up to 800 pounds (I'm 6'7 so it's nice to have a chair that offers this kind of peace of mind) Because of how sturdy it is, it's super comfortable (even my tiny girlfriend wants one for herself after sitting in it one camping trip) Frankly, it's great to have a chair that won't ever break, and if it does, will get replaced free of cost. It's amazing quality and a steal for $50 for the last camping chair I'll ever buy.

Just talked to my bf who bought them and apparently I was wrong. He got them on sale on Amazon. whoops!
Don't you know that company supports Scott Walker and the Koch brothers???
At the same time? Odd combination. I won't go all political here, but I do know that the David H. Koch Foundation supports some programs on PBS, namely Nova, which is a national treasure in my book.
On-topic BS: I see Strongbow in cans all the time in Ohio, and also I've never found uncarbonated alcoholic cider in the US. There are more and more craft beers in cans all the time, which is great, but most of them are pricey and aren't what I'd call ideal for Bonnaroo heat. Anybody got recommendations other than Summer Shandy? That stuff ain't bad, but what else is there that isn't too expensive? Last year I went with Fat Tire, Rolling Rock and maybe Yuengling Light, I think.

Sierra Nevada is your best bet. Dale's and Anderson Valley both make good stuff too. My personal favorite canned beer is Terrapin's Recreation Ale.
21st Amendment and Sweetwater both come in cans too but I don't really care for either of those.

Are you thinking of Dale's Pale Ale? That's made by Oskar Blues, which is a great brewery.
Terrapin is a fine brewery. I had no idea they had cans.

Yea, Oskar Blues is what I was thinking of. Thanks.
And yea, Recreation Ale comes in cans and it is awesome. Definitely my favorite beer for tailgating or sitting by a pool. That's their only canned beer as far as I know.
