Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
At the same time? Odd combination. I won't go all political here, but I do know that the David H. Koch Foundation supports some programs on PBS, namely Nova, which is a national treasure in my book.
On-topic BS: I see Strongbow in cans all the time in Ohio, and also I've never found uncarbonated alcoholic cider in the US. There are more and more craft beers in cans all the time, which is great, but most of them are pricey and aren't what I'd call ideal for Bonnaroo heat. Anybody got recommendations other than Summer Shandy? That stuff ain't bad, but what else is there that isn't too expensive? Last year I went with Fat Tire, Rolling Rock and maybe Yuengling Light, I think.
Sierra Nevada is your best bet. Dale's and Anderson Valley both make good stuff too. My personal favorite canned beer is Terrapin's Recreation Ale.
21st Amendment and Sweetwater both come in cans too but I don't really care for either of those.
Beer snobs alrways give me shit but sierra nevada pale ale is my go to "one-step-up" beer, substituted occasionally by magic hat #9
Emoney serves more of a purpose than any of you, especially Nate, whose incessant, garbled ramblings are so mindless and pointless that I get depressed just seeing them.
How much of a difference to sun hats make? I've never really cared for one before, but since I plan on spending most of Saturday at the What stage, it might be time to get one. Anyone know of any good deals?
Huge difference. Seriously. Get one! I always get mine at Target. You could also try TJ Max or Marshalls.

Drool...I wish Sweetwater was sold in cans here in Tennessee. Last year the beer store here in Manchester sold the Sierra Nevada Pale Ale in cans. That was my can beer of choice. Hoping they restock this year.

Sweetwater in cans is a relatively new thing, definitely within the last year(ish). I'm sure they'll expand their can distribution at some point. There is hope for our neighbors to the north!

Same here. I love SW. By the way, if anyone sees any Brooklyn Summer Ale cans, do yourself a favor and grab some. The stuff is COMPLETELY different in a can, and way awesomer in my opinion.
Thanks, I will check. And then see if there is a store near Knoxville, I can't fit them in my car until I drop off my kids at Grandmas. They aren't important, we have some old camp chairs, but I was hoping for a nice upgrade this year since I didn't have to buy much of anything else.
Even better, they have one in Sevierville! It'll end up being about the same price as the Sam's deal since I won't have to pay for shipping and these have cup holders! Woo! Thanks!

Just got my Tagital External Power Bank (20,000mah) to charge my phone at Bonnaroo! Charges an average phone 5-8 times before it needs to be recharged. A little on the heavy side (weighs about 1.5 lbs) it is as long as a cell phone and as wide as a Universal TV Remote. It charged my Motorola Droid X2 from 0 to 100% in 17 minutes!

Only 19.99 (and that includes shipping) as good as the more expensive models at less than half the cost!
I have a 5400 mah power bank, and it charges my iPhone 4s 3 full charges, so you may be surprised how many charges you get out of that sucker. That's huge!

Yea, I figured I'd try it out for $20. Much better price for my current situation. Hoping it doesn't end up being a crappy device.
I have used mine now a couple of times and works great brother! The directions they send look like a 3rd grader wrote them but basically, plug it into a USBport when u get it (use the line In part with one of the adapters)It comes about 60% charged and it takes a WHILE to charge. It has 4 LED lights on it. All 4 lit up means 100% and it goes in increments of 25%. Sean, seriously, this is a steal of a deal and I love this thing! Tell me what you think after u get it!

Yea, it's a great deal buy my concern is more about longevity. Like...will it die out on me after a few uses or will it be a quality product. I just can't imagine why other models would be more expensive. That and the single amazon review made me hesitate a bit but it's only $20 and if it works....great!
Like I said, the instructions on it kinda suck but pretty much, charge it up on your USB port on your computer. When all 4 lights are lit up it is at 100%. I have had mine about a week now and used it 4 times and it just now has less than 75% power. It also has 2 places to charge items so u can do it simultaneously! Tell me what u think when u get it!

Thanks for the tip, dude! I'm definitely going to give it a test run when I get it and will report back.

I just know battery life on cell phones at Bonnaroo can be a trying thing. Especially for those who do Tent Only and such. I was skeptical too before I bought it (I got it for 17.99 and $3.00 shipping so you guys got a better deal even lol) but now, I show it to all kinds of people at work and brag on the dang thing.

Seems you all bought out the 19.99 ones. Please let me know how they all worked out. I guess I will just hang out at the church tent for a little while each morning for my cellular charge.

I am as well. I picked one up yesterday while I was lurking. I have one 16000 mAh that is an off brand that works wonderfully. I'm crossing my fingers for this to do the same. At $20, this could be a steal.

External Phone Banks. Not sure the quality of these but for the price, prolly worth a look. They have 2 types 20,000 and 12,000 (not sure on the 2nd one)

When Pondo first posted the link there were six left, I think. I thought "Eh, I better save the money" and closed the link. Then other people posted about buying it so I went back and there were only two left. I bought it on the spot.
