Seems you all bought out the 19.99 ones. Please let me know how they all worked out. I guess I will just hang out at the church tent for a little while each morning for my cellular charge.
When Pondo first posted the link there were six left, I think. I thought "Eh, I better save the money" and closed the link. Then other people posted about buying it so I went back and there were only two left. I bought it on the spot.
Damn you, groupthink!
I lucked out last night when I saw the thread kinda late and got one of the few left in stock. Thanks for the tip! Shipped today!

Anybody know where I can get a cheap camelbak (or good off brand) for cheap? Preferably one that won't leak. I think I'll end up just getting one of the $35 coleman ones on eBay.

Yea, was going to say that the ebay sales were the cheapest i've seen. Unless they go up on Woot or something. Haven't made the purchase yet but I'll probably end up getting one soon.

Yea, that doesn't look bad. May think about grabbing one of those as well. Just not sure if I'll end up using it enough to be worth it. Decisions, decisions.
External Phone Banks. Not sure the quality of these but for the price, prolly worth a look. They have 2 types 20,000 and 12,000 (not sure on the 2nd one)
I've been looking at these for a while and it seems like these would take forever to charge your phone. How long does it take for your phone to charge, pondo ROCKS?
I do not have that exact model but I do have a very similar one that is about the same size, and it is of excellent construction. It's my second High Sierra, and their quality is top notch. A 14l pack is small for a backpack but still larger than a lot of hydration packs, and suits me perfectly for events like music festivals. Room for a hoodie, snacks, etc. without being bulky. So if that one is in your price and size range, don't hesitate to go for it - that's the one I really wanted before finding a deal on a slightly used similar one. Gander Mountain was selling the Wahoo for about $85 in stores, for comparison, though their prices generally stink like a Roo portopotty.
Not sure if I've posted this already, sorry if I have (or sorry it anyone has posted it already).
Cell phone charger that you can recharge with a USB charger of any kind (computer or wall) Has a little LED flashlight on it as well Comes with the USB and the standard sized charger (micro something something?)
I got mine (total of 4... lol) at Walmart for $10. Already used it and it works pretty nicely. Comes precharged, but NOT enough! So if you do get this, open it and charge it before 'roo!!

That's crazy cheap.. almost too good to be true. What kind of charge does this thing hold? As in, how many times can you charge a phone/ipod with one of these before it needs to be recharged?

I have one similar to this, and as long as it has a 2amp+ USB port (most of them do, usually 2.1 amps) it takes me about 30-45mins to do a complete charge on my HTC Android device. With the 20000 mAh batteries, that could give you 4-5 full charges easily. Only thing that sucks is it can take awhile to charge the batteries themselves. Also, the storage capacity can be misleading, especially with these eBay models.
What I've done is bought two 15000mAh batteries and a USB solar panel charger. I'm going to alternate between charging one battery via solar, while having another on standby. Probably overkill, but having a charged cellphone is a good thing in my opinion.

I haven't played around with it in full yet, HOWEVER my phone (android) is DYING. So I'll run out to my car and grab the dead charger. I'll time how long it takes to get full (they have indicator lights with where the battery is at), then I'll plug my dead phone in and see how charged/how long it takes to get charged and let you know what I get.
Alright, here's the verdict. Plugged in the charger to my computer to charge at 9:02. It was half full and took ~1 hour to charge. Plugged the full one into my phone that was DEAD (literally 6% remaining when I plugged it in), and it charged up to ~70% in 1 hour. That's when the charged died. So all in all, it seems pretty nice. Get a bunch, charge them up before you leave, and charge them in your car when you have free time. I APPROVE OF THESE CHARGERS.

Right on, for $10 can't beat that. I didn't notice them in my Walmart while I was shopping around, but I could have very well overlooked them. I'll look for one while I'm doing my last minute Roo runs to Walmart! Thanks for the review! heybrihey

It's on what they call a "PDQ." So next time you're in there, ask electronics if they have the Power Juice PDQ. I just realized it's a temporary thing, so I hope they have it for you. Good luck!

So $10 for a charger that won't even fully charge your phone? $40 if you buy 4.
Or $20 for a charger that will fully charge your phone 8 times.

I didn't even see the one that charges 8 times. Is it rechargeable?

It really depends on your type of phone. It took 30 minutes to charge my Motorola Droid X2 and I tried my buddy's Iphone 4 and it took about 50 minutes (from 0% battery to 100%). It will work quite a few times before u need to recharge it (Again depends on what you are recharging). I have not tried my Ipad mini yet but hope to do so soon. Like someone else said, it does take quite awhile to recharge the external battery itself but TOTALLY worth it IMO.

Okay that is what I was wondering. I don't mind it taking time to charge the external since I'm usually near a computer or charging before I leave but I do mind it taking a long time for the charge to get from the external to my phone.
Just got my Tagital External Power Bank (20,000mah) to charge my phone at Bonnaroo! Charges an average phone 5-8 times before it needs to be recharged. A little on the heavy side (weighs about 1.5 lbs) it is as long as a cell phone and as wide as a Universal TV Remote. It charged my Motorola Droid X2 from 0 to 100% in 17 minutes!

Yeah I knew once word got out about how well built the product & how well it worked that eventually, the price would jump. Glad some of you guys got to it in time. Wish all who wanted it could have got one on the cheaper side.

I got one of these & it works beautifully! Will charge my iPhone at least 5 times on 1 charge. Only downfall is it takes close to 8 hours to fully charge it. Highly recommended!
This thing is great. 4 settings of flashlight (high, low, lantern mode, and flashing/strobe like thing) and is rechargeable or battery-operated. Great sale. Pleased with this purchase.
Where is the best place to snag some zero gravity chairs?? My cheap camping chairs finally gave out last weekend and I may as well finally upgrade to the good stuff

Gander Mtn, Cabela's, Dick's Sporting goods (although I find them to be expensive).
