I purchased a doublenest hammock from www.eaglesnestoutfittersinc.com. It wasn't cheap but amazon has discount options...I am looking forward to spending more time in centeroo this year and thinking that it will be a nice place to chillout, if I can find a shady spot to swing.
Very nice, I still love my ENO. I bring it every year, but also bring a hammock stand to set it up at camp. I got this stand. It's big and heavy, but I needed that for my fat/tall ass. It's a sturdy, quality stand. You can also make something fairly easy, I just needed something more robust.
Always wanted to bring it into Centeroo, but never really found that great a place to set it up. I see people put them in between the poles at tents, but it never seems they're there for long. I imagine security makes them take it down.
damn you really think security is making them take down their hammocks? i bought an eno this year specifically to take mid day naps in centeroo on those tent poles.

I bought my eno last day of roo last year straps and all 70$ btw hammocking on the tents kinda ruins the view for some.

And creates an obstacle course to get out, creating a safety hazard when there's a bunch of them.
Any reviews from you guys on a solar charger like this one for Roo? Seems like it would be handy to have it on full throughout the fest and just topping it off with sunlight.

That has a lot of reviews but they are very thoroughly mixed. It seems like it should work great as a portable charger and give 2-3 charges just fine, but tiny photovoltaic panels charge very, very slowly. You can check the reviews and judge whether $20 is cheap enough for you. I love solar power, but even the seller's own description really seems to warn buyers not to expect much in that regard, and to consider it an emergency backup rather than something for daily use. Just my 2 cents though, since I don't own one.
How much are you going to use this tent? If you are only going to use it at Bonnaroo and it doesn't rain too much then it's a great tent. However, if it rains much it will probably leak like the Titanic. You could throw a big tarp over it like a second rainfly and that would help. If you will be camping with it or using it at many fests then I would save some money, go to Sierra on line for closeouts and look for a good name like Kelty, Marmot, Big Agnes, Mountain Hardware, ect. Even a Eureka tent will probably be better and more watertight. Consider it a good investment for your festie lifestyle because nothing can disturb your good vibes like a leaky tent!
Edited to add: Hey, I'm now a Swamp Butt! How cool is that?

Coleman all the way baby. I've never had another brand and I have been an avid camper since before I could walk.

I bought something very similar to this for ~$20 on Amazon two years ago. Worked ok-ish for my brother's dumb phone, but was little more than a last resort for iPhone. Also, I'm always bopping around so much in Centeroo between and in and out of tents during the day that it couldn't get enough consistent sunlight to charge. I actually duct-taped it to the top of my tent entrance one day to soak up all day and allow me to recharge when I came back before night show. Still not ideal but worked better. I bought this cheaper non-solar this year that I plan to use first, then solar as a backup later (I generally turn my iPhone off for most of the time I'm at Roo though): www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B005X1Y7I2

BONNAROO BABY!!
I'd recommend against the folding Guide Gear hammock. I bought one a couple years and it didn't take long for the hammock to start coming apart at the seams, which appears to be a common problem. It also does not cradle you like a normal hammock, and I was unable to find a good sleeping position. The frame is sturdy and well constructed, but the low height with little drop from the hooks to the center means the swinging is awkward, it is a bit hard to get in and out of, and it is strung very tightly. I slept on mine the last two years at Roo, and a few other nights, and I doubt I'll pack it this year.
That other hammock looks like it would be much more comfortable, and that cot looks good, too, though I don't have personal experience with either one.
It's a mini generator that works by boiling water on your campstove...makes enough power to charge cell phones. Woot has it on sale for half off!
That is impressive, and I had no idea anyone was selling a product like that. Of course using an open flame to heat water to create electricity is probably the least green way to do it, but that setup is really tidy looking, and versatile since you can always find something to burn. Great idea for serious backpacking when you will be out for weeks but still want to use your gadgets regularly. Or a great backup in case your battery back takes a shit on you. Really not much extra weight beyond some fairly standard pots. I wouldn't buy it just for Roo, but if I had one for other use I'd absolutely bring it cause it's cool. Woot has some weird/awesome stuff sometimes.
Man, I wish I could jump on the Camelbak bandwagon but the idea of sucking on water that is heated by being against my body all day and out in the blazing sun like a solar shower is for some reason totally unappealing to me...
