Looking to do a camp with a cot for the first time (always done air mattress) and am comparing the Coleman ComfortSmart and the Coleman Ridgeline. Anyone have experience with either?

No experience with either. I got the Coleman Pack-Away last year and am happy with it. The draw was that it folds up nice and small like a camp chair, is a bit longer than some, gets good reviews, and was pretty cheap. The downside is that it doesn't have any sort of mattress and therefor isn't ideal for everyone, but I sleep okay on it.

I bought something similar to this pack-away this year as well. It was on sale at Walmart for $34. I have used it camping already and LOVE it.

Thanks, just ordered one. Impressive capacity for the price, and lots of good reviews. A lot of the no-name brands lie about the capacity but this looks legit.
Ya gotta be careful looking at those canopies--if they call it a 10X10 but doesn't have straight legs the top is usually only 8X8, which only gives you 64 sq ft of shade, as compared to the 100 square feet you get with a 10X10 straight leg. Read the fine print so you won't be disappointed...of course any shade is better than none!

YMMV, but I was just in a K-Mart for the first time in forever, and they had Outdoor Products hydration bladders on sale for like $6 and Coleman solar shower bags for $4 and change.
The bladder is not Camelbak-grade, but for $6 why not? I replace mine every so often anyway because I don't trust my ability to clean and dry the bag and tube consistently without any mold or whatever growing inside. Plus I had $10 in surprise reward points after signing up when I bought some tools from Sears. Just had to spend $10 on outdoor, lawn and garden, or sporting goods, so boom, free ($1 or so) hydration bladder and shower.
And they had a bunch of the coolers and canopies that Madeline mentioned, in stock. I don't have the same one, but the Coleman Extreme coolers I've used are legit 5-day coolers. The cheapest cooler is fine when you are having a barbecue, but a good one performs much better for longer trips like Roo.

I just bought one of those at WallyWorld last night--it sez it's a five day cooler, is 70 quarts and was a tad under $50. I don't consider that expensive, especially when you compare it to a Yeti.

This is why I think Camelbaks are disgusting. I don't think you can clean them and you are drinking piss warm water you have been carrying on your back all day. Makes me think about drinking out of the stillsuits they used in the book (and movie) Dune. Now I might drink water out of Kyle MacLachlan's stillsuit, but I certainly wouldn't wanna drink my own.
Anyone have any experience with flags at Bonnaroo? We are wanting a flag for our campsite this year. Any input on good flag poles to use at the festival?

Telescoping paint stick has worked well for me in the past. something like this

Sam's club now has these lightweight packable chairs similar to some that cost around $100 for $25. Comfortable but a bit hard to get out of. Check it out!
I bought one of these two years ago and it goes with me to every festival I go to. Although sometimes you come back to your site and find a stranger crashed there...I've met some interesting people that way....
Nice find! A word to the wise: definitely sleep in/on anything you might bring to Roo before being forced to use it for 4-5 nights in a row. I have a different style of hammock that I've now retired in favor of a cot. I always like my hammock the first night or two, but after that the sleeping position begins to feel unnatural and really hurts my knees and I need to lay flat. That said, people always rave about hammocks at festivals or anywhere there are no real beds, and that price is good.

Portable hammocks are pretty popular here I think, so here's a deal at Newegg. Double Hammock, portable, on sale for $49.95 shipped. I have no experience with this or the seller (3rd party seller through Newegg). Not so portable that you'd want to carry it from Pod 11 to Tent Only, but I've seen similar ones on the farm, and it might be nice for the backyard.

I bought one on amazon a few years ago and it comes with me to roo every year. The stand is pretty durable but heavy. I just ordered these wheels from woot! so I can roll it into SummerCamp this year.
