If you're mock schedule comes to be, I'm going to have a TERRIBLE time with conflicts Friday afternoon; TV On The Radio, Al Green, David Byrne, and Bon Iver all relatively close together or at the same time... that's worse than last year's BB King/ZPZ/Levon Helm conflict.
i updated the mock and put it in the first post of the thread. i think that 6 pm set time is just a default time for heartless bastards, they also have that listed for sasquatch. i'm holding on to hope for the allmans. i probably won't take them off until it is absolutely clear they are not playing.
You got two superjams. Intentional?
no. i keep moving the super jam around. must have accidentally left it on there.

Does anyone think they may put SuperJam on Friday to provide a jam alternative to Phish (I know sounds crazy that someone would want an alternative)? I think its possible even likely considering Super Jam could be anything. I just can't see Volta playing a day or evening slot. If additions are over I think Mule would open the What Stage Saturday and that would make Public Enemy and Snoop Dogg the What stage for Sunday.
I could see them moving Mule to the What Stage and then have Allen Toussaint into Elvis Costello on the Which Stage and then one of the tents would be Cherryholmes into Heartless Bastards into Jenny Lewis into Of Montreal. Seems logical to me.
Also Murs is on Sunday according to their MySpace (they have gigs on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday).

Karma on your mock of the front Sangreal. I wonder when they are going to do Super Jam? I'm actually thinking maybe Galactic isn't playing late night and is opening the What Stage. I don't know the lineup is so stacked, it's hard to making a mock with everyone on it. I just can't see Volta not being late night and that would push Super Jam on Friday. I don't know this year's schedule is defiantly going to be different.
This mock schedule rocks. It gives me a HUGE NIN/Ben Harper/MGMT/superjam conflict, but the rest of the weekend would flow perfectly for me. Actually, the thought of those four conflicting acts playing in the same time and same place is an awesome though... the world's biggest party.
I hope Ben Sollee gets a tent, I believe he is worthy of a tent instead of a cafe spot.
i think he will. that's why i put him at the top instead of with the cafe acts. also it says "co-headline opening the festival" on that page. sounds like tent to me.
he would be an awesome opening act to play the festival early thursday
we are going to 3 of the same shows. almost 4. nin/ja, bonnaroo and incubus and we were going to see no doubt there but we are going to charlotte the next day instead.

We should meet up at some of those shows it would be nice to put a face to the avatar name, I originally wasn't going to go to No Doubt but I couldn't pass up reliving the 90's with my friends for a 10 dollar lawn seat and I dig Paramore which is a bonus, I jumped on the NINJA show because of the cheap ticket also plus if I get my NIN fill I will probably see other bands at roo if the conflicts are bad.
. that's worse than last year's BB King/ZPZ/Levon Helm conflict.
not much could be worse than that. and iron & wine was during that time too. biggest conflict last year for me.
Agreed I was torn btw, BB and ZPZ but in the end ZPZ won I have loved Frank since I was 12, have seen him 5 times, seen every rendition of his bands that played after he died (Band from Utopia, Banned from Utopia etc..), not to mention Project Object and just HAD to see Dweezil doing up Dad proud. I'd seen BB back in the late 80's in NYC plus I knew I'd enjoy Zappa more.
I don't care what you say about me, just spell my name right---P.T. Barnum "As I was walking up the stairs I met a man who wasn't there He wasn't there again today I wish to God he'd go away."

sangreal - you should add the lee boys to your mock, as well as sollee - neither have officially been announced on the bonnaroo website but i have a good feeling both will be tent acts
another thing...
with all the bands we already have, i think everyone can see that the schedule will probably be different than years past - maybe add another day act to the stages/tents (5 instead of 4) - probably start earlier on thursday - i'm just curious as to how they'll do the scheduling this year - they shouldn't schedule acts too early though, unless they plan on getting people on the farm earlier
going back to the 5 acts instead of 4 during the day - last year, i don't know what day, i know one tent had 5 acts in the day - i think it may have been saturday, with the wood brothers starting at noon - maybe every tent will be that way this year...
Here is an update of the mock that I posted awhile ago. Def. hard to make a mock now with so many acts its hard to tell how they are going to schedule this year but I went with my best guesses. My schedule is pretty similar to Sangreals with a few key differences.

no way, I call BS on that ^^^^^. We're sorely lacking on Sunday What Stage...there's no way that Citizen Cope opens Sunday What Stage and nor does Public Enemy unless they are backed by The Roots. We've got a couple of good additions coming up...they (AC/Superfly) are not going to fire until the last moment to swing the momentum their way.

I hope your right, theres really not any What Stage caliber acts for Sunday unless they make some big additons or Snoop Dogg actually plays Sunday. Sunday overall is really weaksauce so far, even more so then it usually is. If Phish wasnt playing Sunday I would def. be leaving early this year barring some sort of big adds.
hmm actually dont mind your schedule because i get to see a lot of the bands i want. there will be some split show sunday(Dillinger Escape Plan -> Citizen Cope -> Band of Horses ->(potential TBA) -> Coheed.
the real killer is that sat conflict of Snoop v. Wilco v. Mars Volta v. Govt Mule as well as TV On The Radio v David Byrne friday. also not a fan of the Passion Pit v Murs on thursday night. but fri late night would be sick. Crystal Castles/Pretty Lights(split sets) -> Girl Talk -> Animal Collective -> Phish.
also like sat night get to see Ben Harper and then run over to NIN

Sangreal, Do you think Bela will play an earlier slot since he is playing New Mexico the next day at a festival (behind Keb Mo). I don't know about the logistics of transporting a show but Santa Fe is a 19 hour drive from Bonnaroo. Do you think maybe Amadou & Mariam would headline that tent because of having to move everything to Santa Fe. Like I said I don't know much about logistics of it all. Your thoughts?
I'm really hoping to catch Bela (not that Amadou & Mariam isn't sweet) but I can't miss David Byrne so I'm hoping for an earlier slot for Bela, maybe the 4:45-6:15 slot.
I have to say that I think it is kind of comical that people think there will be a "black artist" tent on Thursday. I know we have had genre themed tents and hip-hop nights before, and I think an African music tent is likely on Friday. Granted, there are some connections between Soul/R&B, Rap/Hip-Hop and reggae, but they are not so strong that Bonnaroo will be segregating the tents on Thursday night.
I love looking at the mocks everyone is working on. Just a little feedback on what I think the Thursday schedule won't look like.

i just grouped the artists together the best i could. but it usually is more random on thur. some of those i have listed on thur. may not even be playing that day. no one would said we believe that this mock is completely accurate.

Sangreal, your new mock looks pretty accurate. I'd say that's the best mock I've seen. The only thing I see differently is Murs or Mike Farris opening the Which Stage and Grace on Thursday. I'd say that looks extremely likely based on current information.
Snoop Dogg on Friday makes a lot of sense because I think they got that idea from the Rothbury slot (pretty safe bet). It makes a great way to open the weekend.

regarding the mock...
it does look great - i've spent a lot of time doing several but i just can't get anything close to what you've got - i'm sure you've put a ton of thought into it
the only thing i would change is the order of some of the bands
go back and look at past schedules and then look at past lineups - some of the bands who fall higher up in the lineup aren't always playing after people who fall farther down in the lineup
ex. most likely st vincent will play before tift merritt or kaki king, reason being tift and kaki are bigger names, however, my theory from above (where people fall in the lineup) doesn't really work with this, well it works with where st vincent and tift land in the lineup
