Sangreal, your new mock looks pretty accurate. I'd say that's the best mock I've seen. The only thing I see differently is Murs or Mike Farris opening the Which Stage and Grace on Thursday. I'd say that looks extremely likely based on current information.
Snoop Dogg on Friday makes a lot of sense because I think they got that idea from the Rothbury slot (pretty safe bet). It makes a great way to open the weekend.
murs website says. thur. and grace potter's says sun. she has a show in knoxville on thur. so she's back on sun. where i originally had her in the first place. still don't know what to do with snoop and public enemy. i was trying to fit public enemy in somehere fri. or sat. but there just aren't any spots open.
it does look great - i've spent a lot of time doing several but i just can't get anything close to what you've got - i'm sure you've put a ton of thought into it
the only thing i would change is the order of some of the bands
go back and look at past schedules and then look at past lineups - some of the bands who fall higher up in the lineup aren't always playing after people who fall farther down in the lineup
ex. most likely st vincent will play before tift merritt or kaki king, reason being tift and kaki are bigger names, however, my theory from above (where people fall in the lineup) doesn't really work with this, well it works with where st vincent and tift land in the lineup
and band of horses won't be in a tent
it will start to become more clear once bands start listing their actual set time. all it takes is 1 to start building on. right now the ones i'm building on could be totally wrong. for example, rek having 2 pm as his time, seems to me he will play later than that. st. vincent says 5 pm, but is she really playing that late? once we get more set times in it will be more accurate. right now it's still just guessing.
by the way, i emailed ben sollee and found out the he is indeed playing in the cafe.
merle>allman bros (not yet announced)>phish bon iver>andrew bird>band of horses>decemberists high on fire>dillinger escape plan>shadows fall>coheed todd snider>citizen cope>ted leo>gomez aa bondy>mike farris>grace potter>neko case
has anyone entertained the idea of the "somethin else" tent focusing on bluegrass this year? that would certainly open up some main tent spots....
Definately thought about it but I don't think it will be the case. I don't think they would have given us the Something Else tent in the orginal lineup announcement. Its possible but I just don't see it happened.
Also, it looks like Sunday is really shaping up to be quite the day (compared to what we intially thought). I'm glad Grace Potter got moved to Sunday because now my Sunday looks much better than before. If the Allmans get added, that will be one hell of a day.
Has anyone considering the possiblity of Galactic late night with Charlie 2na (unannounced) and Public Enemy w/ The Roots (unannounced) as a good possiblity? I really see that as likely and then a super packed tent electronic tent show, Crystal Castles, Pretty Lights, Girl Talk, and Paul Oakenfold (all together, it'd probably go to 5, not that far of a strech for the schedule).

Where you have Snoop is more than likely where he will be. He's perfect to open the weekend on the big stage and an hour and fifteen to an hour and thirty minutes is definately the amount of time he is likely to play. I think Public Enemy will be a joint late night tent act with Galactic. I didn't realize their websites said that, I was going off MySpace but the website is definately more accurate. Sunday's shaping up to be pretty sweet. If I get one more jam band and Allmans, that'd be excellent (preferable a jam band that can fit between Grace Potter and Neko Case )

Band Of Horses seems like a tent show to me. Not because they aren't large enough because they definately are, it just strikes me as the slot Broken Social Scene played last year. I don't know.
Also, the more and more I see Volta on mocks as a day slot, the more I think its going to happen. They headlined ACL last year and that time seemed to work (provided it was night). I could see them headlining a tent after Of Montreal, maybe then Which Stage would be Rodrigo y Gabriella > Booker T DBTS> Allen Toussaint>Elvis Costello. That just seems to have a better flow to me. Not only that but, if Animal Collective can headline a tent (seems like a late night type band), I think Volta could. With MGMT/Yeasayer being semi-confirmed, Harper's MySpace time, and moe being confirmed, someone has to go for Superjam and I think Volta headlining a tent seems the easiest slot to move. Not only that but in a tent at dusk would provide enough darkness for cool lighting as well (not sure about how in depth or not in depth Volta's lights are).
i have had tmv in a tent, but i keep thinking they're too big for that now. so i just put them the only place i could fit them.
Well they would be too big for a tent but against Wilco, Elvis Costello, Bon Iver, and the headliner of the bluegrass tent, that would more than split the crowd and adds some variety.

I'm thinking Bon Iver is going to be scheduled on sunday since fri and sat are pretty much filled up. Sunday looks to be shaping up as we thought that there would be a hard rock/metal tent with DEP, Coheed, High on fire scheduled for sunday

TMV on sunday is probably the only way i could poosibly see them. If they were against Wilco preheadliner saturday i would be at Wilco. If they are against NIN ill be at NIN. Saturday is just SOOOOO stacked out at the top.

Murs is playing a show with Tech9ne on the June 11 and June 12. www.mursmusic.com/node/1970 That would be the link. I think this may lead to a possible hip hop tent on Sunday.

but in the tour dates section is lists thur. at bonnaroo. i guess it is possible he does both. probably a short flight from st. louis to bonnaroo.
Pollstar.com, which is generally a most trusted source has Bon Iver scheduled for all three days? Perhaps this is ambiguously indicating it is unknown which day they will perform on but seems more likely they are doing sets on all days. I'll try to dig into it a bit more...
Seems their own website is listing all three dates as well so that may be where it came from. Again, not positive if this is actual or just potential dates.
