I know that im going to see alot of great music but with so many great acts on the lineups painful conflicts are inevitable.
Thats the problem. People at Roo have such diverse tastes that no matter what bands they have playing against each other it will be a conflict for alot of people.
I've been preparing myself mentally for conflicts since the lineup came out. There are way too many bands on the lineup that I want to see. The only conflict that I couldn't live with is TV on the Radio and Yeah Yeah Yeahs. If that happens I don't know what I'll do.

Yes Friday is just one gigantic cluster of bands that I really want to see but I think we can rest easy that YYYs & TVOTR will not conflict. Superfly wouldnt do that to us........or would they?? DUN DUN DUN!

Also, for some actual news...the Schedule Page for 2009 on Bonnaroo.com has changed. The times are now listed on the right side of the page, and there are no grid lines - they've just got the Bonnaroo symbol in the middle.
Don't know if that means anything, but hey, why not.
that's interesting..........could be nothing..........could be amazing......i don't know.
it's definitely proof that they are working on the site. i hope we get some killer updates today

^Maybe they are doing away with unopposed headliners
on fri. night this year at least. for some reason they don't think beastie boys are worthy. i guess that's mainly because of the phish set after them. but i'm pretty sure bruce will be unopposed and phish on sun. of course.
Okay...here's my wild predictions. I think we get the schedule VERY soon. Perhaps as soon as this week or the next.
Here is my hypothesis:
- First, they changed the schedule page on Bonnaroo.com. There are no more grid lines, the times are on the right side of the page, and there are no stage names. This could indicate that they're prepping.
- Second (and what prompted me to post this), is that the "download" link (on the upper right hand corner of the schedule grid page) takes you to "www.bonnaroo.com/documents/Bonnaroo_Schedule_2009.pdf"...which is a broken link/dead page. This is noteworthy because as early as this afternoon, that link still led to the pdf of last year's schedule.
So Id say it's coming soon, maybe earlier than in other years.
im thinking definitely next week if not this week. as someone who knows databasing for websites they wouldn't set that up unless that pdf actually existed. otherwise the code for the website wouldn't even run. so the schedule does exist and the fact that it's in pdf format to me means that it has to be finished or atleast they have a preliminary format of it.

Do they announce who plays the superjam? I can't imagine at least Trey not playing in it since the boys will be there all weekend. I actually look for him to sit in on a lot of sets. Damn you Bonnaroo, the suspense is killing me. It's been killing me for the last two months.
