Do they announce who plays the superjam? I can't imagine at least Trey not playing in it since the boys will be there all weekend. I actually look for him to sit in on a lot of sets. Damn you Bonnaroo, the suspense is killing me. It's been killing me for the last two months.
They usually announce the slot first, then they announce who's playing a couple weeks before. Last year the Gogol Bordello guy told some random blogger dude about the superjam so it leaked early.
Friday night's looking out not to be too bad, conflict wise. Hoping to be able to catch some Femi Kuti, then the whole Crystal Castles, followed by Galactic for the rest of the night. But it is just a mock schedule and you never know what it's going to wind up looking like
i am TERRIFIED by the Gov't Mule/Rodrigo y Gabriela conflict that is on the mock schedule. I really really really hope that doesn't turn out to be correct

Anyone think Super Jam may be moving back to Sunday, given that Decemberists are playing Saturday? I think its possible if its the Dead Weather. Personally I think Super Jam will be Street Sweeper Social Club or the Dead Weather, either way I'll be there. I'm just thinking maybe it will be Sunday, now that Sunday is short a tent headliner (Ted Leo isn't exactly a tent headliner but the closest thing given the information). That would also make room for a Volta Late Night.

A. Anything is possible with this schedule
B. Super Jam could be a "surprise" Dead Weather show on Sunday.

Fair enough. And for the record I 1) am a die-hard Tom Waits fan, and 2) was front row for the show, so I'm sure I enjoyed it more than one who perhaps passed by to check out a few songs. Also I'm not a huge MMJ fan, and so I can't say I have regrets about missing most of their show.
Anyway, by the looks of sangreal's schedule, does anyone else think Sunday is much weaker than Fri and Sat? IMO that's generally how it is, but I'm curious if it strikes others that way as well. I have two must-sees and a few mild curiosities that day, while the others as just packed with conflicts.
sun. looks very weak. i usually leave early on sun. anyway. but this year they're lucky they have some metal that i like coheed, dillinger, high on fire. otherwise i would be gone real early.
I will clarify - I wasn't there, so I'm not speaking from personal experience. It just seems like most of the reports I heard from people who saw the SuperJam last year came away disappointed that they hadn't hit up the MMJ show instead.
I thought the SuperJam was great. It was a unique show and if I had to choose again I would make the same choice.

i don't know that i like it......i mean, what i don't like is its not just a list....i mean, the map is nice but i want a schedule that looks like last years...i'm sure that'll be up soon
