I don't care what you say about me, just spell my name right---P.T. Barnum "As I was walking up the stairs I met a man who wasn't there He wasn't there again today I wish to God he'd go away."
My guess so far. just a guess, and there are some holes to figure out, but im pretty sure about sat. seems logical. also: late night tent sets for friday night are femi kuti and animal collective, gut feeling.
Fri: Main Stage: Al Green 5:30-7:00 > TBA 8:30-11:30 Late Nite: Phish 2:00-5:30
Side Stage Late Nite: Beastie Boys 12:00-2:00
Sat: Main Stage: Wilco 5:30-7:30 > Bruce 8:30-11:30 Late Nite: NIN 2:30-5:30
Side Stage Late Nite: Mars Volta 12:00-2:30
Sun: Main Stage: David Byrne 5:30-7:30 > Phish 8:30-12:00
This may have already come up, so forgive me if that's the case. According to MTV, Phish will definitely be playing one headliner spot and 1 late nite spot.

i don't always trust news articles. sometimes their sources are iffy.
one thing I read.......on hitfix.com didn't even list phish until one little sentence at the end. They were promoting bonnaroo and naming bruce, beasties, snoop dogg, erykah baduh and stuff.........then at the end, towards the bottom was a "and phish will play there as well".
i know that's not a rumor or anything......it's just that MTV and some other sites don't really check into everything all the time.
Not that it matters, I would think NIN would be a headliner over the Beasties. Either way, I'll be seeing both.
I totally agree. Even though I'm a bigger Beasties fan, I'd rather see NIN headline, and to me that seems logical anyway. I do however think one or the other will be latenight
Well normally, I would think that Kanye West would headline over someone like Widespread Panic too, but thats not what happened last year. I just think these What Stage, Ultra-Late Night sets are becoming like extra headlining sets. Instead of 3 headliner-sized artists every year, I'd expect 5 from hear on out.
Ben Harper has it listed that he will play Saturday night at 11:45 pm. I would have expected him to fill the Jack Johnson slot. late night Ben should be interesting but I am surprised. I don't think they have a better sunset band on the ticket www.myspace.com/benharper

^^^^^ shiit. add Ben Harper to the list of conflicts now. I really want to see him but if he's playing during NIN, Phish, or TMV I may miss it. OHHHHH NOOOOO!

Ben Harper comes around to Roo every year though - - - you may just have to keep going to Roo if you miss him...oh no! Hehe! I feel like NIN will fill where Flaming Lips played in 2007...that midnight slot. Even if Phish DID play the main stage at the same time, you'd still see PLENTY of Phish afterward cause NIN will be finished first. This is so hard to THINK ABOUT!!! ARGH!!!!! Scary....

hhhmmmmm . . . Harper may really be playing at 11:45. It isn't like that is a default start time or anything. Maybe Ben Harper and Relentless 7 will take Which Stage latenight. I would be happy about that.
While I agree, my first thought were pre-headliner, a Ben Harper and Relentless 7 show looks like it will be much different from a Ben Harper/Innocent Criminals show. His album with Relentless 7 is supposed to be heavier, without some of the soft/acoustic stuff you would typically get from Ben. So, I could see this making sense.
Nine Inch Nails myspace says June 13th at 8:00, I am not sure if that has been mentioned.
Hmm....so a Saturday night headliner, huh? I'm definitely happy about that if that's the case b/c it means I won't have to make a decision. I'm starting to think more and more that Beastie Boys may play a late night set. Hope it's instrumental!!!!
