yeah saturday late night looks to me like NIN will do what stage, Ben Harper will do which stage, mars volta will do one of the tents. another tent will probably be the superjam. 2006 was the last time the superjam was on saturday night. all just speculation on whats been given.

horrible conflicts. 4 shows i'd like to see - likely to conflict. i'm a sad panda
^ i've been to three bonnaroos and have had conflicts every single late night. someone said earlier that Maybe they will have mars volta go from like 12:00am to 2:00am and have NIN start at 2:30am or so. seems very reasonable to me.
im trying to fit in galactic as well. hmmm when was the last time they played bonnaroo during the daytime? they seem like a latenight favorite at the roo.
edit: galactic did latenights in 2002, 2005, 2007 and 2008 as chali2na's backup band. they did daytime sets in 2003 and 2004.

I don't really see this happening. They won't put this many big name acts against each other. Besides, there's alot of time slots to fill and everything can't be a late night set.
I don't see Ben Harper doing a late night, personally. I think he could fit in anywhere and there are too many bands that fit in only late at night to squeeze him in there too.

NIN and TMV will more than likely get the latenights and from what i read on confirmed dates they will both be saturday. Ben Harper, not my ideal choice for a latenight, but neither was femi kuti... and femi confirmed in his own blog that he will be playing at night. i havent heard ben's stuff with relentless7 so who knows maybe itd be a good fit. but "too many big acts against each other"... well thats what late night is all about.

If Harper's myspace is correct than I could see him on one stage late night conflicting with Mars Volta on another stage latenight. Relentless7's myspace has a heavy original song, and covers of Zeppelin and Prince. They've also covered Queen at live shows. All suitable for a heavy late night performance.
So I see TMV and Ben Harper possibly having late night shows before an ultra late night/kanye time slot for NIN.
How the phish latenight fits with all of this is messing my mind up.

im still betting for a TMV pre-headline spot with a NIN headlining spot with a Phish v Ben Harper late night set. Im thinking Beastie Boys are gonna be late nate Fri after Phish headlines

i'd be happy with this. it would make it much easier to see TMV and NIN, and give me a chance to walk back and forth to Phish/Harper......but one thing about this prediction : Roo officials have said NIN is getting a "very special" time slot. I'm thinking this means not a regular headliner.
i need a schedule now. I thought i'd be fine with the lineup but now i'm going even crazier.

well if thats right then sat gets even more packed cause that means we get Beastie headlining Sat or another headliner added. Unless Phish late night is Fri and they headline Sat?

I just started listening to her cd, and I must say that I'm really diggin' it. It's a cool mix of songs. Obviously, the MIA comparisons are going to float around, but I think she'll put on a cool show
Yeah I am DEFINITELY looking forward to her, I can't wait to see her show I hope it will be high-energy!
If she conflicts with the Yeah Yeah Yeahs that would be awful... but I think they share a lot of the same fans so hopefully Bonnaroo wouldnt do us like that.

I
Yes they would. Ween and Primus late night at the same time in '04.
If the Beasties are playing Friday, and they are headlining, then it looks like Phish's late night set is gonna conflict with Animal Collective, who I think have a similar crowd.

I'm personally hoping that Bruce is the Saturday headliner... his shows are so high-energy and Sunday needs something a little more mellow to close out with.
White Denim - 8/13-14 Power of the Riff - 9/1-2 Bruce Springsteen - 9/19 & 9/21 Gonjasufi - 9/24 Jay Z - 10/4 Animal Collective - 10/5 Swans - 10/10 GWAR - 10/16 New Order - 10/18 Squarepusher - 11/1 Bassnectar - 11/18 Neil Young & Crazy Horse - 11/27 Bonnaroo 2013 - ???
Are Beasties definitely a headliner? I know they're a pretty big deal and are third on the bill but Beck and Elvis Costello had closer than Phil to top billing in 06 and didn't headline.

I've been looking forward to seeing Phish mainly because I hope I will "get" them then, so this kinda makes me sad.

part of me thinks that phish's late-night set will really just be a "late-evening" set like posted in an article earlier on a different thread.
i'm thinking friday will have beasties' set starting at sunset around 8:00 going to 9:30 similar to jack johnson's last year... with phish starting at around 10:30 going to 12:30 and later if they wish to keep playing. that way the other latenights will still have pretty large crowds. IMO it would just kinda suck for a band to play at the same time as phish, even if phish is headlining a seperate night.

I wouldn't say Phish is a "mellow" show. In my opinion, Phish will be a much wilder show than Springsteen
