Sweetwater ANYTHING is always my preferred beverage...esp the Blue and the Hummers....but....Magic Hat is also awesome...and if anyone can get their hands on Abita Strawberry I will GLADLY chip in ANY amount for some...even send $$ in advance...just PM me and let me know how much and where to send it! ;D I literally can't get it around here exept in VERY rare times...which is odd since I can get Abita Amber...Purple Haze and Turbo Dog pretty much ANYTIME I want....
Miller Lite. When I'm at Bonnaroo I can't help but want to drink all the time. Miller Lite doesn't have much alcohol, so I can reasonably drink a 12 pack during the afternoon without ruining myself for the night and late night. For the headliners, 420 is my choice. Late night, usually Budweiser.

My best friend is obsessed with Abita Strawberry too. It's one of their "harvest brews" and I think they only sell it in the spring/summer. Look for it then and maybe you'll be able to find it.

Go to beeradvocate.com, create an account and go to the regional board for where you live and ask what are the best places to find good quality canned beer in your area. You should get a couple of responses within a day or so directing you to the best option.
I just did that a few days ago and I was directed to a store that oddly enough I've been to several times, but never looked for canned beer. I was delighted to find more than a dozen different craft and imported beers in a can. I just came home with 5 different 6 packs and I will be trying them out over the next week or so.

There's an even better option on that site. on the left of the page you should see a link for "Beerfly". click on that and you can search the entire country for liquor stores that sell craft beers. you can search by zip, city or state. this will give you a couple options if you want to stop at a couple places on your way down...

PBR used to be $7 a 12 pack, and the other day it was $11 for a 12 pack at the store.
In Texas you can get Shiner Bock in cans, aint no way u can go wrong with that. I might bring some to the farm. I still have yet to see Fat Tire in cans, but its everywhere here in bottles.
Also, the Shiner Holiday cheer is awesome (my fav fruity beer), its brewed with peaches and pecans in limited supply, and the Abita Pecan harvest is good also. I still havent tried the Abita strawberry though.

the Shiner Holiday Cheer really surprised me. But to me it tasted more like cranberries than peaches. Still very nice though.
ill be bringing some founders breakfast stout for the AM
probably some nugget nectar for the afternoon
and some stone ipas for the evening
Founders Breakfast and Nugget Necatar are both the shiznit....but if im not mistaken you can't get either of those in cans...it would suck to shell out the cash for those, haul them down and have them snatched up at the gate

Somewhere along the line Pabst became frat fashionable, much like Beast Light, Keystone and Natty before it. I have noticed in my now illustrious on and off 7 year college career once something becomes the new beer of choice among the students the price goes up.

mmm sweetwater blue and 420 and magic hat are my favorites there too. I love the Abita Strawberry too. I can find it around here every now and then but it's always in bottles, as is every other decent beer.

if you're just trying out troeg's definatley pick up a six of the Hopback Amber...probably one of my favorite all year round beers...i just can't get enough of that stuff
Everyone loves lager for fests, but it's a dime a dozen here. We always say "screw it," and drink PBR's all weekend! King B's is more of a beer guy than I am, so I always have a mixed drink in my hand. Moe-jitos (lol) are my fest drink of choice.
yuengling or dales for the camp-then sierra nevada (yum) and magic hat in the festival area i cant get magic hat anywhere close to me in florida so the roo is always a treat
