The one, the only. As a person who brews beer himself, I can honestly say, this is the best beer on the market.
ehhhhh i don't know about that one.....new castle is good but best beer on the market is a pretty bold statement...like candy said that's all personal opinion...

I'm like 99% positive they do...definitely seen 'em around before. Maybe not at the grocery store, but certainly at some bev centers
I love Newcastle, but "best beer" is 100% an opinion. Personally I could never choose a best beer because i just like good beer and would never want to only drink one brand or style, or two, or three....
What makes a good beer so good is that its different from the other beers, so having all different kinds of beer makes you appreciate each one that much more. I just dont think there is one best beer.
There are many quality beers in my fridge. Some I buy some I brew myself, but Newcastle is always in good supply. To say it is the best is just my opinion. I don't say it with the hope of it being affirmed by anyone else. I think someone else said that it was very bold of me. Well, I'm 6' 4" at 275 pounds, what did you expect of me, dainty and soft spoken?

my friend brews beer for "The Tap" which is the Haverhill Brewery here in MA which is fucking sweet.
I think he and Jim James are twins separated at birth because we put a picture of him on the computer while Jon was next to it and you couldnt tell that it wasnt a picture of him, haha

Yeah, I went to the last 3 or 4 Langerados, and the last one was the first that felt like a real fest, even though I had to get my wife to buy me a beer when I left my ID in the car.

If you had your bowtie on you probably wouldn't have gotten carded, a little class can go a long way!

i didn't know they made newcastle in cans?!?! it's my favorite, but it's always a no-no for festies. i'm going to have to research this...
maybe because i'm from jersey i have no clue...but can somebody describe this sweetwater blue?
It's a fruity ale brewed with blueberries. I'm not a big fan of blueberries but a lot of people like it and chicks definitely dig it.
Thank you...theres a blueberry ale i get up here, it's too much by itself but really good mixed with Hoegaarden, they call it a dirty hoe. I'll have to try it

Fat Tire is a decided must, I'll have to look into the cans. Boddingtons is another personal favorite, and any Chicago natives know that Goose Island is awesome, especially their Oatmeal Stout.

if you can get your hands on it for the roo i would suggest getting anything from the Maui Brewing Co...they only use cans...their 3 main beers are off the hook....the coconut porter is one of the best i've ever had...only problem is the only state on the mainland that gets it is Cali..
^^ I keep thinking you are in the klan with that photo...
coconut porter sounds... fascinating!
and no, they do not id with any regularity at roo. and even if you were somehow refused, there are 79,999 people who would not id and probably offer you a beer.

I am 26 and get carded everywhere I go. I actually did get carded at Roo 07. I always have my card out when I place my order anywhere regardless. However, like idioteque said... you'll have 79,999 friends there to help ya out! We actually bought some folks beers last year and paid for them because it was always hard for us to find folks to do that for us.

As a broke college kid who can only go cause he's volunteering, I'll probably splurge a little and get some Coors Light and Bud Light rather than just sticking with Natty Light like we usually do at school. Maybe I'll try and pick up a sixer of something nice too. Who knows. 'Roo doesn't give you trouble with ID really, either at the gates or at the vendors. I bought beer without being ID'ed last year and I'm certainly not 21.
