Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
I grabbed a 6 pack of Sea Hag the other day, and man, is it solid for $7. It reminds me a lot of Dale's, for a couple bucks cheaper. It's definitely on the shortlist for Roo brews.
Oskar Blues - Dales Pale or Gordons DIPA or even Old Chub . Last year our frist year we had these great ales and some Ten Fifdy / Wittekerke / and some mini kegs.
Really they weren't bad choices but in the end the best will be Dales \ Yuengling.
I may attempt to bring a few bombers for the day before the farm - Nugget nectar anyone?
I just had ta stop by and bump this 'cause I been enjoyin' my Yuengling all night in anticipation. Also I wish one of my favorite local brews Big Boss: Bad Penny came in cans so I could take it. But Oskar Blues Old Chub will do well as a stand in!

Does anybody know if they are intense about bringing in beer if you're underage. Me and my buddy are 18 and 19 and we don't look very young so we figured it wouldn't be a problem but I'm still a bit skeptical.
I have a really, really stupid question... can you actually bring cans of beer into Centeroo?
If its cool enough at night to wear a hoodie throw a couple in the hood. Its pretty hard to sneak beers in. Flasks are usually no problem.
I wonder if you could slip one of the security a 20 or something like that to let you through with whatever?
On topic...I'll be bringing some Old Chub, something cheap like coors/bud/natty/whatever, a 6er of Bells Two Hearted, and a 6er of Sweetwater IPA...maybe some Hopslams too.

I actually had a nice strategy last year. When the lines would get backed up at the arch entrance, they would let a decent amount of people in without searching. So we would hangout there and wait for this to happen. Then jump in line and not get searched. Easy way to sneak in anything you want.
Note: I only noticed this happening around noon, right before the acts started for the day.
Can anyone find the beer limit on the bonnaroo website? I've checked in every place I thought it would be but I've come up empty-handed. Last year, wasn't it four 12-packs per person? I can't remember anymore...
OH YEAH! I loved the Blue and my husband loves the 420. I am going to buy a ton of this to take back to Louisiana with me.
For Roo I love the Blue for late time but I can't drink too much during the day....if I do I'd go with something light like that Michelob Cactus Lime or something Mexican.

I seem to recall it was two cases of beer and two bottles of liquor per person, but there's nothing on the site (not even the 20 page PDF guide). Odd.
It was one case per person per day. I've checked again and I just don't see it.
Lets just hope hey did away with this rule.

This thread is making me thirsty...
I'll have to experiment with some canned beers in the next few weeks, but I'm flying in so I don't think I'll be able to bring much with me. What's the best canned beer that's widely available in Nashville?
Oh, also, re: the Abita Strawberry mentioned above - I saw some in Whole Foods yesterday. It's on the loose!

I emailed B'roo and there is infact no limit on the quantity of beer or liqour you can bring.
On a different note, I purchased 36 canned Fat Tire Amber Ales today, I'll be sharing with my neighbors, I'll also be bringing a few cases of Old Style Light.
Fat Tire just introduced in Indiana (finally) picked up 24 cans today and of course a case of Yuengling my official Bonnaroo beer. I also have a case of Spotted Cow from Wisconsin I think I will try to slide a sixer of that in to.
I'm from OK, and getting good beer is very difficult around home. Right now I'm up in Wichita on a business trip and I'm gonna stop by a liquor store and pick up anything in a can that i can't normally find back in OK. I've already called a liquor store recommended to me and verified that they have Fat Tire in cans. If by chance they already have sunshine wheat in cans you can bet i'll pick up some of that too.
I was actually considering bringing a slim quarter of some local Tulsa, OK brewed wheat beer (Marshall's Sundown Wheat) but decided that the logistics of keeping a keg cold, even a small one, were just too much of a headache.
