"Walk tall, kick ass, learn to speak Arabic, love music and never forget you come from a long line of truth seekers, lovers and warriors" - Hunter S. Thompson
Fat Tire just introduced in Indiana (finally) picked up 24 cans today and of course a case of Yuengling my official Bonnaroo beer. I also have a case of Spotted Cow from Wisconsin I think I will try to slide a sixer of that in to.
Mmm...Spotted Cow. That stuff's delish, wish it came in cans!

*i like coconuts, you can break them open they smell like ladies lyin in the sun** *Hell I don't even know where I am** *for now I must sit here and ponder the yonder: The herbivores did well cause their food didn't never run** *We listen, if it feels good We shake** *You made a big impression for a girl of your size, Now I can't get by without you and your big brown eyes.**
Anyone know if Abita Amber is available in TN. I know I can get Purple Haze and Turbo Dog but the Amber is where it's at. I had it in New Orleans where a shrimp restaurant was selling it for $2 a pitcher. It was in bottles there too but I haven't found it in TN yet.
It's Better To Drink Beer After Exercise Than Water
The subjects in the study were asked to run on a treadmill at temperatures of 104F (40C) until they were close to exhaustion. Once they had reached the point of giving up, researchers measured their hydration levels, motor skills, and concentration ability.
Half of the subjects were given two half pints of Spanish lager to drink, and the other half were given just water.
Garzon said that the rehydration effection in those who were given beer was "slightly better" than those who were given only water. He also believes that the carbon dioxide in beer helps quench thirst more quickly, and that beer's carbohydrates replace calories lost during physical exertion.
The average person loses around 1 liter (33oz) of water for every hour of exercise in sweat. Rehydrating after a workout is crucial, as a lack of hydration is more likely to make one feel tired, fuzzyheaded, and suffer from headaches.
Based on the results of the study, researchers recommend moderate consumption of beer as a part of athletes' diets. "Moderate consumption" for men is 500ml per day, and for women is 250ml per day.
So that explains why Babe Ruth was so good. His method of training was nearly 100 years ahead of its time.

Boulevard Pale ale is what I brought a lot of last year, I poured the bottles into empty plastic Simply Orange (orange Juice)containers, they each held like five beers, and had an airtight screw on lid to lock in freshness,i had beer left over in a couple when I got back, and opened one,it sounded like opening a fresh 2-liter bottle of soda, and it was completely good(no flatness)as opening a sealed bottle. That was, and still is the way to go in my book. The pale ale took on an even better flavor, and when I poured it into a cup, the head and carbonation was perfect.I went back to camp 3/4 of the way through Metallica last year, and slammed a few cups of this awesome chilly brew down, then went back out for an awesome latenight that ended at sun up.
