Just got my vinyl in the mail today. It sounds so great...lots of little things going on in the mix that you definitely can't hear in that crappy leak from a few months back.

The thing that first drew me to Grizzly Bear was what first drew me to the Fleet Foxes. The two leads voices are amazing and fill up the room when listening to the CD. But both bands go a lot deeper than just the vocals. So redsoxs I would totally check this out a couple more times if you can. But if it doesn't register it doesn't register don't feel bad.
I'm really looking forward to owning a copy of the CD for myself. I listened to a friend's version and it kicked the leak's behind. To me Veckatimest is a front to back complete album. Yellow House was great and showed GB's potential but there was a point where it just died for me. Every time I pop in Veckatimest I listen front to back with no skips.
Have I mentioned that their drummer, Chris Bear, is from my hometown and was a grade school buddy? I probably have, but with all this exposure they've been getting as of late, I've kind of been floored! Just weird to see him in all these major spreads in SPIN, Rolling Stone, and on and on and on.

I tired to get in touch with their PR person for an interview, with no luck. Help me out man

Second best act on Friday, (next to Phoenix.) Everything in this show was spot on, from the pumped crowd, the gracious and excited band, to the pristine sound, this was a band on their game. I was sad I had to miss the YYY's at first, but once they started, I completely forgot about it.
