not sure, i just know i was right in that 79 area, it did suck though
look how swollen my feet were (saturday night) I could literally barely walk and was in extreme pain, only time thats ever happened to me
Public Health Announcement from One Who Knows: Severely swollen feet can usually be prevented, depending on the cause.
Cause 1: You are unaccustomed to walking. A person who rarely walks will almost certainly get swollen feet if they suddenly start walking at the Bonnaroo Level. To Prevent - start NOW walking as much as is comfortable to you, and up it by about 1/4 to half a mile EVERY DAY. Walk in the shoes you intend to wear to bonnaroo. IF this happens at Bonnaroo, find a good music lineup and stay put to watch it - with your feet ELEVATED.
Cause 2: Heat, overheating. Heat can cause foot and leg swelling. You need to stop, find a cool (er) place and drink some cool water. And keep your feet ELEVATED.
Cause 3: Stress Fractures - usually you will have more swelling in one foot or the other if you have a stress fracture. Way too much walking and dancing can cause stress fractures. Bring a roll (or 3) of Ace Bandage, just in case. When wrapping any part of your body, make sure you a) wrap loosely enough to allow circulation - your limb/digits should be warm and pink. If the limb or digits are white or blue/purple or are cold, you have a circulation problem. and b) wrap snugly and thickly enough to support the foot/ankle/shin, whathaveyou. Wrapping with Ace can help support shin splints, too. If you have lingering pain, you DO need to seek medical support. And keep your feet ELEVATED.
Cause 4: Heart/ Kidney/ Liver problems. Been drinking a lot of alcohol stuff? Been doing a lot of...stuff? Sometimes, swelling in the lower legs and feet can be a sign of Something Serious. If you have tried cooling down and drinking some water with your feet ELEVATED and the swelling is still there...check out one of the medical tents - especially if you feel ill or "off."
Folks, our feet can tell us a lot about our health at the moment.
I am making a garmin GPS file for the bonnaroo site. I based it on the pdf map and some satellite imagery. should be accurate down to a meter. I just hope they don't change it all around this year. Has anyone every did this? Thought it would be cool, so I can place way points of peoples camps and other places I want to get to quick.
I don't see the place me and my pals camped in '07. We were in Camp Sloan Peterson which was tents only. Is this an updated map for '09? Or is this an '08 map?
I believe it is last years ('08) map. Plus - if you look - Sloan Peterson is still there - but VIP was expanded and took Sloan Peterson and Biff Tannin over and they made tent only smaller
I looked at the pdf metadata and the map is titled "bonnaroo 07 map 2" with a creation date of 06/06/2008 so it seems that it is not this year's map.
It is not this years map. I don't know how much changing will happen but I know there have been some changes in access camping (I won't know the details til I get to the farm).

That could be a problem for us in Camp Inforoo as access camping has been right next to tent only. Does anyone here have any other info, will accessible camping be bigger, smaller, somewhere else?

So, I haven't been since 2007 when VIP people just had the bleachers. How big is this "VIP viewing area"? That left side of the main stage has always been my spot. I'd hate to see it taken over by VIP....

VIP viewing area was bleachers last year. I would guess / hope it is the same.

It was "The Hill" last year at the What Stage, a big mound with hay bales and whatnot scattered around. And bleachers as usual at Which, they were the same.
I hope it helped put people in the mood today. I was psyched putting it together.

My confusion. I remember this christmas light-lined pathway from a portion of the guest area to some bleachers, I thought they faced What. Either I must be mistaken or they weren't VIP bleachers.

That totally depends on how long you want to wait in line, but it's really a crap shoot. There doesn't seem to be much method to their parking madness. We got in line (exit 127, all backroads) around 10am last year and we waited in line for 5-6 hours and still ended up in BFE. In 04, we waited about 7 hours off of I24 and were about 1o minute walk from centeroo.
