Also, this shit says "TASTES AMAZING!" on the bottle. I must confess, if my diet consisted of, oh perhaps dog shit, leeches and durian fruit, then this would be an accurate claim. Seeing how my diet does not consist of the above, it is downright disgusting.
We're all a mess of paradoxes. Believing in things we know can't be true. We walk around carrying feelings too complicated and contradictory to express. But when it all becomes too big, and words aren't enough to help get it all out, there's always music.

Phi, Viking--Beer bets on who can lose the highest body weight percentage by Roo?
I can't take your money like that. Like Phi, I just went in for a trainer evaluate, but the difference is that mine is my second one. I am only 12 lbs from my Target, moving from 30% bmi to 15% if my lean weight stays the same, which it didn't. The bastards lowered my Target weight this morning to 215. If I hit that with the increase in lean mass they predict, ill be at 7% bmi by bonnaroo.
One more note, do you think it is a coincidence that when the game ends all the mafia players come to this thread to blow off steam? Stress issues maybe?

Most of those protein shots are made from boiled cow's hide (cheap cheap materials) and your body can only absorb so much protein at one time. They also aren't always made with a good source like some are made with collagen (this one is a combo including collagen). Collagen protein is the cheapest, and least absorbed protein form on the market.
What vitamins/supplements do you guys take if any?
Heres what I take everyday:
2 womens ultra mega (why they must use ultra and mega together IDK) energy/metabolism formula vitamins - just switched from the original womens ultra mega, I havent noticed a real difference but its only been 3 days.
900 mg of fish oil and 100 mg of CO Q-10
1000 mg of cranberry
2 "be-balanced" calcium supplements (the pills would tear my stomach up but these chews are actually really good)
Ending a cycle on Lipo-6 will cycle off 2 weeks and try out these raspberry ketones.
GNC gets alot of my paycheck.
I take te following:
GNC triple Strength Omega Complex It has the following oils in it:Fish Body Oil, Borage Oil, Flax Seed Oil, Gelatin, Glycerin, Olive Oil, Caramel Color, Natural Lemon Flavor
Then: GNC Mega Men Extreme Athlete Vitapak. It has the following in it: - Men's sport multivitamin - Creatine Pill - NO Explode type of pill - thermogenic pill
Finally, I have been on a 1 shake a day of GNC Pro Performance AMP amplified Wheybolic Extreme 60, and I got moved to 2 this morning.
Took a few weeks to get adjusted, but since i have been on it, it has been great.

That GNC shake is a real quality shake. Also, check out premier protein shakes. They come already made from Costco, Sam's Club, or their site. They are the best tasting protein shake on the market IMO. If you are a carb counter these shakes are perfect for grabbing when you are running late and can't eat or when you know you are going to be tempted like, grocery shopping, eating out, before a function with food.

Unfortunately it was the only pure protein source they had where I stopped before my workout
I usually stick to whey, goat or soy(sometimes, too much makes me fat for the hormone changes). I don't do rice because of the extra carbs. I try to get as close to 1g protein per lb of my goal weight as possible, and unfortunately my stomach cannot hold that much chicken breast and fish . That equates to around 30-40grams of protein per meal. Usually this is just fine because protein takes awhile for the body to break down, so it enters fairly slow. Liquid proteins are available as nutrition faster than food obviously, but I worked out about 45 minutes after this shot so I was able to take advantage of the protein. But it still tasted terrible.

That shake works wonders for me. I seriously don't feel the need to eat for 2-3 hours after, and it is pretty much just straight up protein. Also, I mix it with 1% milk, not water. Tastes 10x better and I get calcium too
I'd like to share this protein bar with the other protein heads out there. It doesn't have all of the additives that most other supplemental protein sources do, and they taste TERRIFIC, natural and don't have the sickly sweetness that comes with artificial sweeteners.

Thanks for the rec LLL! I am on a protein diet right now - My only massive carb intake is natural rolled oats in the morning about an hour after workout - then I have the shake in the middle of the day, and half of a bar at snack times - then lean meat and veggies for dinner. Trying to get 75 g of protein a day and keep the carbs to a minimum after breakfast. The current bars my trainer has me on arent' very appetizing. So I'll give these a shot!

My brother is in nutrition, and he was telling me that an average female who is losing weight shouldnt be on more than 70 or so g of protein??? I mean, im all for taking more, I just didnt know if it was worth it... for example, you know when you take a multivitamin, or you take more than 1000mg of VC a day, you just pee it out? Well if it costs me money to get all this protein, and it's not getting processed right, I dont want to bother... so if I should take more i'll do it! i just need someone to tell me to do it.

I'm pretty carb sensitive. The only way I can really lose weight is to reduce my carbs quite a bit. I lost 45lbs about 8-9 years ago doing Atkins and then transitioning over to a "weight lifters" type diet. I was training to do fitness competitions while I was in nursing school. I had a Chippendale as a trainer (mmmmhhhmmmm!). I did great for about 4 years until I moved back home (KS), and started hanging out with my drinking friends and fattened up like a Thanksgiving turkey on chicken wings, beer and Vodka Tonics.

I always advise even patients to separate out medicines/supplements because you truly can only absorb so much stuff at a time. I use a lot of liquid vitamins, sub-linguals etc and I space it out. This helps your body to absorb better. The problems with most pill form multivitamins is that your body has trouble digesting them. Always use softgels, capsules liquids etc.
