I know this topic is about bands that are still around, but I have to say that seeing Pink Floyd with 90,000 of my closest friends in old Cleveland Stadium was a magical experience.
Your Sooo Right about Floyd. Still the best show I've ever attended!! I saw them in BC. There were 80,000 and up until Bonnaroo will be the biggest crowd I've been in.
Primus Poi Dog Pondering Oysterhead - (Me and Leo had to boost Nick through the Aragon's second story (open) window, who proceeded to navigate his way to the side door to let us in. All the heads outside saw us running to the door and the bum-rush began. The security never knew what hit 'em. ahhh...good times) MMW Frog Brigade
Organized religion destroys who we are by inhibiting our actions... by inhibiting our decisions, out of... out of fear of some... some intangible parent figure who... who shakes a finger at us from thousands of years ago and says... and says, "Do it - Do it and I'll fu(kin' spank you."

I just can't even believe that not a single person even so much as included Ween on their list. They are number one mofo's. Get a clue! have any of you even heard them? (other than push the daisy's off MTV) have you ever heard of modeski martin and wood? They will straight up kill you their so good!! and if I can include a blast from the past let me add............The Smith's. MOZ has the voice of a fallen angel. And one that's coming back around again, I just bought my tickets to see the Pixie's in Detroit. I think I'm anticipating that one show in my hometown more than all of Bonnaroo! I might just burst into tears right their at the show. There's a lot of really awsome music in the world outside of the "jamband" scene. maybe you should look into it and expand your horizons. And finally I'll say Phish. I can't deny their awsomeness, but I really think their recent "break up" is simply a blatant attack on your wallet. I'm not buying Coventry tickets. Maybe I'll go see them during one of the many summer reunion tours their bound to be doing in upcoming years. ( as soon as they run low on funds.)

2. Flaming Lips 3. Beck
did you catch when they toured together. one of the best shows i have ever seen. beck always puts on an amazing show. no matter if its his acoustic stuff or his electric stuff.
I saw Beck and Flaming Lips at the Beacon Theater in NYC on holloween. It was really cool how Beck started an acoustic set and the Lips came out playing with him during the middle of one of the songs(I forget which one). I don't know how I forgot to list Beck, my bad.

In no special order
- The White Stripes - 311 (i think they would fit right in at the roo) - Kings Of Convenience - The Black Keys - Yonder Mountain String Band (wow saw a sold out show in columbus, oh and it just rocked, even they were quite surprised at the amount of people and energy)
