The Black Keys - Seen them 3 times now and they put on unbelievable shows. Pearl Jam - Only time I saw them was last year at Bonnaroo and i think thats all i need to say. WOW Incubus - Seen them twice. Once in Dublin, Ireland and once in Detroit. They out on a great show. I know this board pretty split on them, but they are great live. 311 - I saw them in Detroit at a mini-fest as the headliner and they wre unreal. Rise Against - Ive seen them 4 times, once at the same mini-fest, once at Warped and twice as a headliner. The two headlining shows were unreal, in the fest atmosphere they were still very good. Coheed and Cambria - i know theres a lot of hate on the board, but every time i have seen them i have been very impressed. saw them at the mini-fest in Detroit, and twice as headliners. the mini-fest was ok, but they had a real short set, as a headliner they had a high energy show with good set length. O.A.R - seen them many, many times growing up in Toledo, they used to play up here a lot. Always loved going to their shows, their newest material i am not as big on though. Lupe Fiasco - Saw him last year at Bonnaroo, he was the one artist that i was left wanting more of. really wish he would of had a longer set, and hope to see him back soon with more time to play. Radiohead - saw them at The Blossom outside of Cleveland last year and all i can say is WOW. best light show i have seen in person. Gnarls Barkley - great performers and their show is so much fun.
last year instead of goin to Lolla a friend and i went on a mini-music vacation. went down to Columbus on a friday and saw Gnarls Barkley, went around Columbus durin the day on sat then came back up to Toledo for The Black Keys. then monday went to Cleveland to see Radiohead. it was a great weekend.

And instead of saying all of your goodbyes - let them know you realize that life goes fast - It's hard to make the good things last-you realize the sun doesn't go down - It's just an illusion caused by the world spinning round

From what I've seen: My Morning Jacket - Bonnaroo '08 Nine Inch Nails - Rupp Arena '06 Queens of the Stone Age - Earthlink Live in Atlanta '05 Sigur Ros - Ryman Auditorium Valentine's Day '06 Rage Against the Machine - Lolla '08 Radiohead - Lakewood Amphitheatre in Atlanta '08 Deftones - City Hall '07 etc...
I had the luxury of going to school right by The Gorge and I am even luckier to have friends that could get me in for free. I am going to base my best list on just The Gorge because it always feels like people bring their A game to "Heavens Amphitheater”
1. DMB - Not my fav band but if you haven't seen DMB at The Gorge you really should make the trip.
2. PJ - 115 degrees was worth it to see them in 7/6, top to bottom amazing shows really a life changing event.
3. Phish - Again not my fav but you can not deny the environment was amazing and the music was making move and shake in ways I hadn't before or since
4. Ben Harper - Watching him at sun down proved to me G-d exist
5. Busta Rhymes - He pushed the audience to push him, outstanding
I'm the opposite of moderate, immaculately polished With the spirit of a hustler and the swagger of a college kid Allergic to the counterfeit, impartial to the politics Articulate but still would grab a ni**a by the colla quick
1. Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band 2. Dave Matthews Band 3. My Morning Jacket 4. Pearl Jam 5. The Raconteurs 6. Robert Randolph and the Family Band 7. The Avett Brothers 8. The Derek Trucks Band 9. The Roots 10. Back Door Slam
(I am sure Phish will be at the top after I see them in June)
