FLips @ Waka '08.
During vein of stars, towards the end when it gets all magical, somebody in the crowd set off a 24 shot firework display. AMAZING!!! After the song, Wayne commented on "how fucking brilliant it was."
Followed closely by Phil Lesh and Friends Langerado/Rothbury then probably The Dead/Warren Haynes Noblesvill 7/25/04 First time I heard warren play lay of the sunflower. and man was it beautiful.
Pit for Tool > Radiohead on the mainstage at the Pinkpop Fest in 01 in the great country of Holland. The Radiohead show at Roo was def comparable to this Radiohead show, it's really a coin flip.
NIN in Atlanta in 05 (With Teeth Tour) Radiohead at Roo 06 Tortoise at Roo 07 The Mars Volta in Myrtle Beach 08 (Bedlam In Goliath US tour) NIN in Duluth in 08 (Lights In The Sky Tour)
Honorable mentions go to:
Legendary Pink Dots in Atlanta 08 (Plutonium Blonde Tour) Metallica at Roo 08 Plant and Krauss at Roo 08 Levon Helm at Roo 08 Jonathan Richman in Chapel Hill in 08 (Because Her Beauty Is Raw and Wild tour) Ornette Coleman at Roo 07 Beck at Roo 06 My Life With The Thrill Kill Kult in Nashville in 07 (20th Anniversary Tour/Filthiest Show on Tour) Squire, Howe, and White of Yes in Myrtle Beach in 08
Hmm...I'd probably have to think for a while, but in the top running would be:
Widespread Panic 4/28/02 at Oak Mountain in B'ham.
During "Papa's Home" it started lightly raining (just enough to cool everyone off) and lightening just a bit, and it was one of those moments where you just kind of reach that peak of utter happiness and serenity. Ahhh...good times!

Wow! ^^^After thinking about the show I just mentioned, I decided to go try to find it to stream. I went to Panicstream.com, and low and behold, it was the first one listed on the website as the "top rated show!" Looks like I'm not the only one who had a spiritual experience that night!

Drum rollllll Yes it's hard to believe but these guys by far brought the most energy of any band I have ever seen. Hell The Stones didn't even make the top ten.
i'll have to agree with LRH on the Pink Floyd in NOLA at the dome DMB in mobile in 99 or 2000 kings x in the pisshole armory here Tool all 3 times i've seen them Rage at Lolla in NOLA Les in any form i've seen him in...
This word also has a underground meaning once you break it down. Let’s take “Bonn” for example and it actually turns into the word “Bone”. We all know gays use this word to describe the action of when they are fecal fisting their Cuban cabana boy at their sex bath house parties. Now let’s look at Roo, “Roo” is short for “Kangaroo”.So put the full true message together and you get“Bone a Kangaroo
wow, you really should have seen tool before 07. i was at the greenville show and bonnaroo. the shows in 01/02 were way better.
I saw Tool in 02 as well, and it didnt come close to the 07 tour, IMO.
Chandler I too was at the Huntington show...that was fuckin epic. How about the extended Right In Two? And the drum off with Danny Carey and that dude from Big Business...that was the band that opened up right? anyways that was awesome
I wish I had seen Johnny Cash. I harbor great jealousy for all those that did.
Johnny was a fluke. A friend of mine's wife had tickets and he didn't want to go. She knowing that i love concerts gave me a call and the ticket. I was shocked by how good he was.
best thing i saw live i actually partook in. when i was growing up the Pharcyde were my favorite music group. so it was 02 or 03 and i was at my 1st Pharcyde show in philly and they asked who knew the lyrics to "Oh Shit" and my buddy grabbed my arm and threw it up. so they pulled me up on stage with them. im already amped as hell just being at this show and before you know it im on stage with my favorite group. I sat by the dj and watched them perform "Officer" from the stage, then i got up and did the first verse to "Oh Shit" in front of 1000 people.
i think i actually did pretty well for my first time being on stage in front of a large mass of people.
