really? tkk? i saw that show as well in boston. not a highlight.
if its the one im thinking of, was ministry and hanzul und gretyl there?
No, this was just TKK, no opener (save for some awful local band that only played 20 minutes).
It was the 20th anniversary tour, and a good 3/4 of the whole set was of the Wax Trax era (I See Good Spirits..., Kooler Than Jesus, Confessions of a Knife), with the rest being their more disco oriented stuff (post-Sexplosion).
Great, great show... even my friends who didn't like TKK loved the show.

I don't care what you say about me, just spell my name right---P.T. Barnum "As I was walking up the stairs I met a man who wasn't there He wasn't there again today I wish to God he'd go away."

I havent been to too many concerts.. but.. Rolling Stones 1997 - Vanderbilt Stadium in Nashville.. I was only 8 years old, and getting to see the stones was awesome.
White Stripes 2007 Southhaven, MS - The last show the white stripes played.. it was awesome..
Would be hard to say best-but Super Jam 08 John Paul Jones, Ben Harper, ?uestlove especially during Dazed and confused. The other would be Grateful Dead mid to late 80s did Ripple-extra long cool version-my favorite Dead song.

I was at this show!!! But I was 15 It was windy and sorta raining.
"We're no longer called Sonic Death Monkey. We're on the verge of becoming Kathleen Turner Overdrive, but just for tonight, we are Barry Jive and his Uptown Five. "
I would like to say the very first Lollapalooza 1991 with Janes Addiction, NIN (first tour), Butthole Surfers, Henry Rollins, Ice T with Body Count, Fishbone, Siouxie and the Banshees,
It was part of the Pretty Hate Machine Tour Series. Part of it was Skinny Puppy VIVVIsectVi part was Lollapalooza and part was Europe..If you like Skinny Puppy you should check out bootlegs of Pigface. I seen them in Chicago with Trent Reznor,Martin Atkins, William Rieflin. Genesis P. Oridge, Nivek Ogre and Chris Connelly.
These two shows changed my life forever. There can be no greater segment of music or concert than the those that set your life on a new course for good.
This is tough as I've seen literally hundreds (possibly a thousand) of shows but off the top of my head...
Rush '81 - the opening band got sick so they covered for them and played a 3+ hour show The Cars '79 - great live band The Moody Blues '81 - with a full orchestra Midnight Oil '87 - just because they're one of my all time fave bands John Hiatt 9? - showed up at the Bluebird(?) for a acoustic set RodyGab - Roo '07 Thursday night vibe was just amazing
I know I've forgotten some probably better than these but I'm still on my 1st cup of coffee so...
