Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
The "official" aftershows will be released on Lolla's main webpage. Apparently last year they were released the same day of the schedule release so we should be getting them very soon.
wtf is the phucking deal with the Beastie Tool Bassnectar conflict?!!!! ya i saw Beastie Boys at roo so im not too worried about that but the fact that Bassnectar is put up against Tool and the Beasties....doesnt make sense. i just dont understand it!! they MUST FIX THIS

Heading to Lolla (kind of a last minute thing) for Saturday and Sunday. Sunday I may be stag. If anyone wants to meet up and check out a few shows together Sunday (I plan to see Alberta Cross, Neko Case, Cold War Kids, Lou Reed, Jane's Addiction -- other slots up in the air at this time), PM or post here.
is anyone having trouble accessing the lollapalooza website?
i ask because i entered that Lollapalooza Remix Contest and made it to the Semifinal round, and have not been able to get on the website, where the instructions for the next round are present. funny how this happens now.

I haven't had any trouble. It looks like the DJs have a new set of downloads to use beginning 7/6 and ending 7/12. Voting begins on 7/12. The direct URL is delllounge.com/lollapalooza/.
Solid stuff this year. Beastie Boys at Congress Theater! Solves my Tool/Beasties conflict now, but I would've gone with Tool hands down
^^ you should pretty much always choose Tool. Unless the other band is Radiohead. Or Phish.

That being said, I go to this festival every year (since 2005 when it moved to Chi-City) and the thing that really irks me is that they don't stagger the schedule at all. There is no way to catch part of one set and take the 20some minute walk across Grant Park and catch any good amount of another (sets are only around an hour). If they just started 15 minutes of so apart it would make it easier to see more bands, I understand the space and time constraints they are dealing with, but this is a simple fix.

Just bought my tix for the STS9 aftershow at the House of Blues. Ticketmaster are rape artists 2 X $32 = $102? Whatever, a couple of years ago when they played there after Lolla my buddy got offered $150 outside the doors for his ticket, I hope this doesn't happen to me because I really want to go but might not be able to pass that up. Get em while they're hot!
General question here for anyone who's been to Lolla: How are tickets exchanged for wristbands? Last year at ACL they had booths in the Austin airport that made it really easy for people flying in from out of town. Anyone know if they do anything like that at Lolla or do you just have to go to the main gate and exchange on Friday? thx
Well, a buddy and I are gonna come up for Saturday. Payin $80 for a floor seat at any other tool show, so why not see them and a bunch of other good bands for the same price? (not to mention seeing Tool outside is amazing, 100x better than inside in my opinion) Prob gonna be hittin up the chitown nightlife afterwards
The House of Blues was a great time, and an amazing venue! I agreed with the 2 x 32 = 100 thing. UGH! I was not happy about that. Show was worth it, though. Went to the MSTRKRFT after show Sunday night, it was great but the venue was very hot!
Maynard- "MY only regret tonight is not having seen the Yeah Yeah Yeahs" LOL I agree the YYYs are alright and all... but not comparable to Tool.

Thievery Corp. was one of my favorite shows of the weekend. I saw them at Coachella as well, they are amazing live. Only gripe about the Lolla show was that Perry didn't sing "Welcome to my Spaceship" WTF?
PS That was my first time at the House of Blues and it was a really cool venue. Loved the opera boxes and the stage set up as a altar. Cool place, even though it's a chain; exceeded my expectations.
