I was almost 29 for the first roo. I will be almost 40 this year....DAYUM!
I totally understand this...I was just 29 for my first roo, and I'm turning 39 in two weeks. I've gotten to go to Roo six of those years, and this will be my 7th Roo. I have to say, I've gotten wiser about how I Roo over the years, other than the sunburn I can never seem to avoid.

35 here and haven't been since '07 but we're going this year. I hope I don't wear out too fast! When I went in '06 and '07 I was more active overall, now I just sit in an office 40-50 hours a week. Also found out I need to be more careful with the sun. I don't expect much of a difference, but on the way home I might think, "Oh, to be 25 again!"

40, going to my 7th Roo in a row. Wisdom/preparation> youth/enthusiasm. I bring some veteran rooers and some roo-kies every year, and it keeps getting better... Plus when my old ass outdoes the youngsters every year, I must say I truly enjoy it. ;P
I'm so glad I found this thread! I'm going to be 36 and going to the Roo for the first time. From all the pics I've been looking at of past Roo's I was prepared to be one of the oldest people there... although I'm not too sure about being old enough to be considered an old hippie... I guess I'll just have to get used to it

I turn 36, the weekend before. You will be fine, old hippies have advantages.

OK well this year will be Too #6 for me (in a row) and it will also be my last......well last for me as a thirty something. Yup big 4 0 in September. I think its a good reason to get a little extra crazy this year just to remember that I can still enjoy myself like I did 10 years ago.

My first Roo was my 35th b-day present to myself... I had the same fear but once I got there, it evaporated
Went to my 1st in 2009 at 59, the next year I turned 60 at the Farm and haven't missed since. This year isn't looking so good for a few reasons but I'm not ready to hang up my tent quite yet and if I don't get there this year I'll pick it back up next year. The first 2 times were in GA but for anybody getting up toward my age VIP makes a world of difference, either way I didn't have any problems and there isn't a better time to be had anywhere.

You're my new hero Mike! I'm planning to go for the first time this year at 53. To be honest, I'm not familiar with 95% of the artists, but Bonnaroo is only 70 miles from my home and I just have to go to experience it at least one time.
I hope I can ask a question here about the handicapped camping. I'm 58 by the way. My second roo , first being 2005. I need to stay in the handicapped camping area. I emailed the address they give in the instructions a few days after I bought my ticket the day they went on sale. I haven't heard anything back yet. Any one have any experience with this?

I'm 41. This will be my first Roo. Last year I had a major gastrointestinal surgery that changed my life. This is my one year celebration of that. It's good to know that age doesn't seem to be much of a factor on the farm. Cheers.

Thanks David. One of the greatest things about Bonnaroo is how much music you get to hear over the 4 days. I have to admit being in a Classic Rock rut before going in 2008. I've heard so many new acts and have so many new favorites that it has just been a tremendously broadening experience. Actually I think I appreciated the whole Bonnaroo experience more because I was older, it reminded me that there's a lot more to life than work, there's a lot of fun to be had too. I'd be back this year but I slipped on some ice and blew out my knee and probably won't be recovered enough for that type of activity until mid summer. Hope you enjoy it.
this will be number 8 ... I turned 55 in Feb, always brought the RV and a bunch of young friends, this year just two of us and I am so stoked, every year I enjoy so much ...music...food....arts...people..and being from Key West the heat is O.K. just wish the kids would pace themselves a little better...that being said..carbombs at daybreak!

I have a few times. Last year being most current. You just flash your ADA tag, get off the right exit, sometimes that doesn't help till you get to the gate, then just keep flashing the tag and they will guide you to your parking spot. You don't get a choice of where . It worked out pretty well last year. cr****
I am headed to Roo for the first time at 67 just yesterday. Missed Woodstock and spent the last 44 years raising 13 kids. Now it is my time to enjoy life. I am coming with an RV from just north of NYC.. Can i get a heads up on the best time to arive? If the gait opens at 7pm when does a line start forming? Do they let people in all night? What ever i am excited about this trip see you all then Mod13

Man, after 13 kids, you totally deserve a Roo this summer!
