Just bought two tickets! Figured this was my year to go to as many festivals/shows as possible before I start my PhD, so why not spend Halloween in New Orleans! There were enough bands supposedly on the lineup that I either haven't seen before or will always go see that it seemed worth it! Black Keys, Wolfmother, Flaming Lips, Eagles of Death Metal, George Clinton, Robert Randolph! Hell, I'd even be stoked to see KISS, just to see their crazy fireworks

Anyone have suggestions on a reasonably priced hotel that would be near the venue and some other New Orleans sites??? I have no clue about the layout of the city. Thanks!

Getting the lineup this way is kinda fun, it's a little like the Roo clue thing but with quick actual answers, no bickering, not draged out for days, weeks, months

Food - depends on what, how much you eat in the city of FOOD - $100 can probably do it and still be delicious for 3 days though

Alcohol - Well...

... average it to $5-$6 a beer and figure that one out on your own

Streetcar... like $10?

Cab to and from airport, $30ish each way if it's just you
