I'm content with this lineup, esp for a $103 ticket! I hope the Beastie Boys are an addition... I skipped them at Roo cause I thought I'd get to see them at VooDoo.
It is rappy hip hop. I ripped their CD to my laptop last week but have not had a chance to listen to it yet. It was a new CD we got in at the library and I liked the cover.
Sadness ensues: I may not be coming now I forgot I have a wedding that month in FL that I have to fly to and pay for hotel. Also, we are going to Sunny Day Real Estate that month (not a huge expense, but vacation time is getting slim). On top of that I forgot I have a huge fall grad school bill that will need t be paid off around that time. SO.....outlook is grim.
^^ Oh noes!! Hope you guys are able to make it! If not, you'll have to advise me on where I can get a most-excellent muffaletta like you brought to the brunch!
I'm glad you used the word may though... never say die!
Yes, the word "may" was placed with much thought. There is always a chance. Up until the beginning of May I didn't think I was going to Roo! I'm not ruling it out until November. Maybe I can find some kind of library workshop in New Orleans to attend that weekend to make up for my lack of vacation hours.
our flight from Chicago to Bonnaroo this year was overbooked, resulting in a free round trip flight anywhere in the States for my friends and I. I'm pretty sure my buddy Steve and I are going head down to New Orleans and check this thing out. Steve's a huge Saints fan too, and it just so happens they are playing the Monday night game the day after VooDoo.

"Walk tall, kick ass, learn to speak Arabic, love music and never forget you come from a long line of truth seekers, lovers and warriors" - Hunter S. Thompson
I want to go - Boz is meh on going - he is scheduled to work that weekend and he has already taken time off this year plus has to take thee days in August because I will be out of town for business and the kids need him since my parents will be in Europe - so - this is - more than likely - another no go year for us
and that sucks for me - because Jane's, Eminem, D12, Justice

time to think halloween costumes now!!~
Hopefully you can beat the man dressed up in a chicken suit pushing a colonel sanders in a wheel chair. I think even more will be dressed up this year, last year it was about 5 days earlier and the crazies hadn't come out of the woodwork yet.
