I would like People Under The stairs please. I have also seen Elvis Costello with and without the Attractions and can give an honest, unbiased opinion about the man and his music.

If worst comes to worst I can do Springsteen and The Lovell Sisters. I was hoping that someone would pick The Boss but it doesn't seem to be the case.
I guess I'll do Bruce if you really don't want to. I'm just not sure where to even begin. However, if you want to do it, I am more than fine w/ that.
See that my problem. I don't know where to start. Plus I am doing several already and I figured he would go pretty quick. He didn't and that scares me. If you want it,do it VF. If you don't. No sweat. I just don't wanna see him left off.

I'm not sure exactly what they are looking for,and obviously doing a profile of Bruce is daunting,to say the least. But this thread from Jens Wildman at the Glastonbury forum is very extensive and might give you some good info/ideas to use...
Well, there have been many questions asked, but I've got answers!
Will there be a template? Yes, there will be a basic template to follow. For everyone who's super knowledgeable and super creative, don't fear, you'll have creative rights over it.
How intensive does it have to be? However intensive you wish. If you don't include all the information that people think is enough, then I'm sure that information will be added by other users in the discussion thread. However, people appreciate a good job.
When will this start? I am going to post a schedule tonight regardless if all bands are filled in or not (we'll get people to jump on those later). I'm thinking that the first entry will be Wednesday and from then on we'll get one or two a day.
Do I have to confirm [this band]? A lot of people signed up for bands in the "Band A Day Interest Thread," so I added them onto the sign up page. I wanted those people to confirm that they're still interested in writing about those bands.
Can you tell me more about the schedule? The schedule will be released late tonight. It will contain who's doing what act and when his/her description is due to be posted. Now the headliners are going to be due first (because those are the ones people care about most), but that's still a few days away. This will leave ample time to trade acts if you want to or to be rescheduled (if you won't be able to post your description on the given date, a new CD is going to be released that you want to mention, you're going to see them in concert after the given date, etc.).
I can confirm myself for Byrne, Badu, and Andrew Bird, but can defer on Andrew Bird if I am the only person down for the other two.
If noone steps up for Midnite, I know next to nothing about them but like the one album I downloaded and can do some research. I would encourage anyone who is at all familiar with them to volunteer though....
Looking forward to this, but I hope I have some advance notice to work on mine.
Alright guys, we still need some volunteers for...
The Del McCoury Band Robert Earl Keen Femi Kuti and the Positive Force Robyn Hitchcock & The Venus 3 Kaki King St. Vincent Zac Brown Band Mike Farris and the Roseland Rhythm Revue Vieux Farka Touré Chairlift
allright since I am already doing Gris I guess I can also take up Del have not seen him as much but enough to form an opinion and give a review I suppose.
I don't care what you say about me, just spell my name right---P.T. Barnum "As I was walking up the stairs I met a man who wasn't there He wasn't there again today I wish to God he'd go away."

Ok folks, new additions are UP. In order to make this easier, from here on out it's first come first serve. The bands that need to be signed up for are...
Robyn Hitchcock & The Venus 3 Zac Brown Band Vieux Farka Touré Public Enemy Ani DiFranco Amadou & Mariam Shadows Fall Heartless Bstards Tony Rice Unit High On Fire Passion Pit Dillinger Escape Plan Wailing Souls The Itals White Rabbits Janelle Monáe Hockey Pretty Lights
What do you guys think regarding the Comedians? At first I thought writing about them would be a great idea, but we already have on our platter. Unless I hear otherwise, what I'm thinking is this: If anyone wants to write about a comedian then sign up for him/her and I'll put you up on the sign up/schedule threads. However, I'm not going to list them on the schedule/sign ups. The only comedians we'll hear about are the ones that people really want to write about (I don't want anyone to go out of their way to write about them)

I can write up whatever you need me to do. I wrote for a newspaper for about a year and a half so if you need a filler, no problem mate. I can do Zac Brown band and I am already finished with The People Under The Stairs, just doing revisions now.
