Here is my question...this seems a little "thrown together" to me. Can we just start with the acts that we have and not worry about the ones we don't? I mean, someone listening to one song of a group and trying to write a fair description/assessment of the group seems a little too general for me.
I guess, IMO, we should go forward with the acts that we have. If need be, i can write a small something about the ones that need it (basic filler stuff)

well for the lesser known acts, most of the stuff can be copy and paste from wiki or somewhere. I think it's actually pretty good for someone to volunteer for a band that they don't know too much and discover a band they normally wouldn't have. The lesser known band descriptions don't have to be anything fancy, but it'll still be good to have them. Anyway, seeing that we're having difficulty even adding Phish to the list I'm sure a lot of the lesser known bands will just be glazed over as is.
Anywho, I need someone to volunteer for Phish. You'll have about a week to get the description done.

If you need me to do Phish, i can do so. I honestly thought that everyone and their cousin would want this one. So People Under The Stairs, Zac Brown Band, and Phish for me unless someone else wants to chime in. I can also do filler work on any other acts that need it. (by the way, what happened to jbaruch76, sneakyalien doing Phish?)

So People Under The Stairs, Zac Brown Band, and Phish for me unless someone else wants to chime in. I can also do filler work on any other acts that need it. Well Jbaruch76 won the draw, but didn't end up posting a description (as you see). If he doesn't post a description by tomorrow, then I think everyone (I surely would) appreciate if you wrote one. Feel free to get that one up whenever you want but keep the "Day 2: Phish" thread title.

The way I see it is that a decent write up is better than no write up. We'll appreciate it even if it is a nice looking copy and paste job from Wikipedia or another source (cited of course ).
So we still have some bands that need writers, so please jump on if you can. Also, due to a recent banning, Public Enemy is open for writing. If anyone wants to do an unpicked band (including Public Enemy) please sign up!
i can do coheed if the person that signed up is not going to do it. you probably need to open up some of those that are missing and see if someone else wants to do them.
I would be happy to do Andrew Bird still, but it will probably be another couple weeks at this point. Sorry, life has been crazy lately. If anyone else wants to do it, feel free.
