I think I'm heading down solo this Roo so if anybody is passing through Cincinnati and can squeeze one more person in, I would appreciate it. Or if anyone else is going solo and wants someone to ride down with I'd be down for that too.
I am leaving Cincy on Sunday if you want to get a head start with me in my bus! haha.
Anything to do in this crazy city? I am going to the Natural history/science museum tomorrow and then hitting up a Volkswagen event Sunday, afterwhich I am going down through Kentucky. Will probably go to Memphis to their giant BBQ championship cookoff and then snake over to Nashville and finally to Roo.

I would love to take the bus down there and spend some time in Kentucky and Tennessee on the way, but unfortunately I have exams that week and my last exam goes until Wednesday at 6 p.m. But thanks for the offer.
I live in the Dayton area...my friend just kinda bailed on me to go to lollapolooza..i said "just go to both" and he acted like he was poor...so I guess now I'm going alone...I'm also going to lollapolooza, seeing NIN in Indiana on the 30th, and Tool in August (New Jersey)
Basically, who wants to carpool/camp together from the cincy/dayton area?

Ok, so there are a few of us going solo to Roo from Columbus, Dayton, and Cincinnati. I think we should start getting something together for all of us to ride together. If anybody is interested, we could start planning something. I'm pretty much game for anything.

just waiting on a buddy in town to give me a yes or no answer. he's been telling me that he's going, but has yet to purchase a ticket. i'm gonna let him know that i need a definite yes or no by this weekend.
if it's a no (which i think it's gonna be), then i'm game for an ohio carpool/camp.
If my ride bails out I'd be more than happy to pick someone up. I live just south of dayton in Kettering. If not, I hope everyone gets to the Roo safely. I'll keep you posted if my situation changes. I'd hate to have to make the treck by myself.

ok, so this 'buddy' of mine still says yes he's going, but he's waiting on his tax return check. he filed on april 14th. i guess paper checks take 4-6 weeks to arrive in the mail??
either way, i'm giving him until may 27th (ticket shipping day!!). if he doesn't have his tax return check by then so he can buy a ticket, he's SOL and i'll have 1 seat in my corolla for those of you still in need of a ride.

i'll be heading down to roo solo this year - first time alone. live in nky about 5 mins from cincy. most likely leaving wed night. i'm media this year, so the plan is to be at the radio station when they open to get my media pass.

I think I got my ride situation covered. I live in Southern ohio Portsmouth area. I'm driving up to toledo and going with a group of 7 can't wait 21 more days!!!

ok peoples. looks like my buddy is SOL.
that means i have an extra seat for any OHIO solo ROO'er looking for a ride.
if i fill the seat or not, i'd be down for a caravan with any1 who might be interested.
just an fyi, my plan is to leave columbus on wednesday night between 10p-11p.
If anyone is interested in an Ohio caravan, Juicebox, Cracka A$$ Cracka, and myself are meeting at the BP off of I-75 south exit 189 (Near Covington, Kentucky) around midnight Wednesday. Anyone and everyone is welcome to join us. Just let one of us know so we can pass out phone numbers and such.

i JUST found this forum which sucks cuz i leave for roo in two days!
is the meet up on wednesday or thursday at midnight? i'm coming from kent but am stopping in dayton to have dinner with a friend wednesday evening, then we were gonna keep trekking down and spend the night at wal-mart i guess. not sure when we'd be passing by that exit.
