The restart worked, now got White Lies. Alberta Cross was sounding pretty good...the singer's voice reminded me a little of Shannon Hoon from Blind Melon.
Alberta Cross was pretty good, they will make a nice Thursday night set at Roo.
White Lies on the other hand are pretty terrible. I remember seeing their set at Lolla and I thought the same thing then that I think watching them now, bad Joy Division knock off band.
Perfect description. I'm hating White Lies, but I'm afraid to navigate away from the page and listen to something else for fear that it will screw up the stream again. Forced music torture!
I'm really looking forward to Alberta Cross after the two songs I got to see, though.
I'm gonna amend my statement above where I said that White Lies doesn't do much for me. I can now comfortably say that White Lies is terrible. I'm kind of embarrased I kept listening for as long as I did.
The picture quality on the broadcast is fantastic, though. I'm looking forward to watching some of the other bands during the weekend.

Anybody see the trippy lightbulb field they had going on at night in the video it was crazy, coachella really does have some crazy theatrics like a huge fire blowing dinosaur and other night artistic stuff.
I think the first part of his set is usually all solo stuff and then he does beatles stuff towards the end. Which means if they are only showing 45 minutes we wont be seeing many beatles songs. ):
Man I forgot how much most of Mccartneys solo material sucks, not really that great so far but im sure it gets better in the second half with all the sing alongs and such.
