Is this really the Drive-By Truckers? They're horrible! Absolutely no energy.
Yeah, this isn't really indicative of how amazing they are live. I wonder what's going on? I'm curious to check out the format of their set with Booker T at JazzFest. I read somewhere that for the regular shows on the tour, they'll be doing the Booker T. material as well as regular DBT material.
There's a huge gap in their schedule b/w Sasquatch and their support of Andrew Bird. Think they might be an add? I can't remember if they were at 'Roo last year.

They didn't play last year, I think the last year they did was 2006. I would love if they were an add, but I don't know how many more tent acts we're getting. Phoenix being added through their tour dates posted on some pretty credible blogs (pitchfork/stereogum) is a good sign for more to come. I think once Lollapalooza's lineup is up we'll get the additions maybe a week later.
I think Lolla's lineup is due the 21st, right? I just saw on Calexico's site that they have a show in Germany with Lambchop and Lucinda Williams. NIRVANA!!!
Calexico is doin it, i cant wait for M.I.A. she was my greatest discovery of last year
M.I.A. going from the Sahara tent last year to Main Stage this year will be very cool to watch. I'm really interested in what she has planned. Someone mentioned Lil' Wayne, going on with her, so you know her set will not be boring.

Supposedly the lineup will come out the 21st, but so many bands have been confirmed there's no suspense at all.
Does anyone follow Robin Pecknold of Fleet Foxes on Twitter? He just sent one out saying "terrible stage sound at coachella, feel like it bombed, wanna die" I'd have a hard time imagining them sounding bad if they were playing in a sewer, so how could Coachella have been that bad?

It was quite pathetic to see the crowd at DBT. I remember the excitement and the energy at last year's Which stage at NOON and the crowd was 10 times more into it than these folks were.
It def. got better in the second half, I bet it was a blast actually being there dancing your ass off.
Im strangely looking foward to watching The Killers, The new albu isnt very good but I liked their first 2 albums, will be interesting to see what their live show is like.
