wow this week's episode was amazing. it definitely had a, "OH NO YOU DIDN'T JUST DO THAT" moment at the end there. i was aghast. i can't even imagine what the finale is going to be like.
I can't believe Jesse's girlfriend turned out that way. She doesn't know that if she messes with Heisenberg she's a dead woman.
I know I'm quoting my own post, but I totally called that one. Those two people in the body bags are still mystery people, because they were pulled out of Walt's pool.
jesus christ! i was pretty pissed, as much as that girl sucks i couldnt just watch anyone do that
edit: bar scene with mr white and the father was pretty awesome
yeah, i seriously felt like i got punched in the stomach when i realized he was just gonna let her die. i love this show because i both hate, pity, and root for walter. it makes me feel such complex emotions. i like when the villain is also the protagonist.
I like it because it shows how bad good people can get when pushed beyond their limits and how one bad step can unknowingly lead to unthinkable things.
They're all circling the drain that leads to hell.
Well the girl was blackmailing him, so she had to go somehow. Walt lucked out just letting her kill herself from too much h. Some people will say, "He could have flipped her over." Well having someone out there that knows all your secrets and will tell them if she's not appeased is too big a risk. However, I doubt Walt would have let her choke if he had known she was that dude's daughter.
Edit: I heard another argument that was something like, "They were gonna go to New Zealand and never bother Walt again." Yeah right. They would have spent all that money on their habits and then they would have come back to Walt for more cash.

Yea......they are going to New Zealand just like how they said they were going to throw away what they have left and get clean.
I can't believe some people's arguments on this show.

Walt def did the right thing. If he could make more decisions like that, he'd be a lot better off. Did I miss the episode with the body bags, bc that's nit ringing any bells.

The body bags are refering to the little glimpses of the future we seem to get randomly. Where there has been some sort of explosion/fire with the burned teddy bear in Walt's pool...
IMO someone is going to blow up his house and that bear belongs to the newly born daughter! Body bags are wife and son... Grim prediction I know
I was lying in a burned out basement With the full moon in my eyes. I was hoping for replacement When the sun burst thru the sky. There was a band playing in my head And I felt like getting high.

The finale pissed me off. It seemed like a total last minute cop out to me. I was hoping those body bags contained people that we knew. Now they're just strangers that fell from the sky? A previous poster said that someone would blow up Walt's house and the people in the body bags were Skyler and Walt Jr. That would have been so much better than what actually happened, imo.
Edit: Not that I hate his family or anything, I just think it would have been better for the show. That would have been a very ballsy finale.

Here's an AWESOME interview with the creator about the finale. It sheds some light on why they did it.....how they hinted at it.....and what they have planned. It definitely makes you look at the finale a little differently.
I think they wanted this "love it or hate it" vibe from the finale. Something that would get many people talking about the show.
After reading that article, I like the ending better. I didn't make the connection that as a result of Walt, two planes crash and it rains down on him. That's actually very powerful. Thanks for that article.

Season 3 premiere was awesome. I can't wait to see where Walt goes for the 3 million. It will also be interesting to see how the mexican hitmen found out about Walt. I have a feeling this season is going to be even darker than the last.

All right, time for me to abandon this thread. I'm likely going to wait for season 3 to come out on DVD and I suspect there might be some spoilers in here.

They obviously are tied to that old mexican man with the bell who must be part of a big cartel from mexico. I am going to assume that somehow it all comes back to the pollos owner/dealer guy and old fueds he has.

Once I saw the two latinos give away their car keys and change clothes, I knew they were hitmen for a cartel. It's interesting to know that the Pollos manager has that kind of pull. I don't think he has a feud with the old guy with the bell. He is obviously above him in the hierarchy. I do want to know how the PI is involved with the Pollos guy.

it's a case of life imitating art... a social studies teacher from the West Georgia hamlet of Bremen got arrested as part of a meth lab operation this week.
