gus is going to turn out to be one of those bosses who never shows any emotion and then BAM he shoots you in the face or something. i really feel like he can bring down the hammer (and he is going to).
i also believe that jesse was being a nutsack too! i think that making jesse co-cook will come back to bite walter in the butt, perhaps regarding gale.

Gus would never get his hands dirty but he would, obviously, pay someone to do it for him. I'm sitting here wringing my hands waiting to see what's in store for next week. Also getting ready to go through withdrawal until the Lost finale.

Every week it gets better and better. What's up with Skyler covering Walt's ass? I'm glad she did it, but why? Jesse wants to cook for himself again. That's going to end up ugly. His peddlers will probably face the rath of Gus. Though I have a feeling that all wont be well for Gus in the end. At least this season's finale is the weekend before Roo, so we won't miss any of the good stuff.
Gus was covering his ass by killing the second twin - and discovered Walt was there, lying, but at the same time Walt was protecting both his own and Gus's interests.
seems like somewhat of a wash...
It does seem obvious that there will be some conflict with Gus and the cartel.
Plus - Gale! You don't just walk into a huge methlab like that and leave. what is that guy doing?

I don't think he discovered Walt was there and lying. I think he fully expected to find him there since he already knew that his brother-in-law was shot and in the hospital. The whole time Walt was talking on the phone to Gus I viewed it as Gus knowing exactly what was going on.
Can't wait to see what he does next. I want to know more about cleaner Mike...the guy who actually killed the second twin. I love all the new characters they added last season and kept on this season.

Wow, did anyone watch last night? Holy Shite. Great episode. It's amazing what Walt will do to protect Jesse.
The scene with Gus and the two dealers that Jesse wanted to kill was intense, but ridiculous as well. Why would those two dealers even know who Gus is? Isn't he a little high up on the food chain to have meetings with two street dealers? That seems out of character for him.

Damn that scene is impressive. BUt when he got out and just popped that guy in the head. My jaw was wide open. The show just keeps getting better and better.

Yeah hitting them was one thing but Walt popped that guy like he did not give a damn at all. I wonder what he is gonna do about Gus and Mike. Walt usually only offs one person a season but still......

Bryan Cranston's acting in the factory/laundry place was amazing. And the guy that played Jesse was phenomenal in the last scene. I was actually sad when Jesse shot the assistant guy, and I'm kinda embarrassed I can't think of his name.

Gayle is the assistant's name. I agree, Aaron Paul is ridiculous. One of the girls with whom I work knows a guy who shares an agent with Aaron Paul.
Isn't it odd how AMC is putting out amazing television?
The main thing that keeps getting me is the cinematography in Breaking Bad. The camera moves in such odd ways that I've never seen before.
Anybody else notice Gus' accent in the last episode? Where did that come from?
The old boss said he was from South America somewhere, sounded Brazilian/Portuguese to me so I would guess from somewhere on the east side of the line of Demarcation.

Weird that I never noticed it before. Was it more pronounced in the finale? I guess I always focused on his calm demeanor to notice any type of accent. Or maybe it was the fact that he was pissed off that I noticed it more.

I noticed that too. Up until Gus loses his cool, he overinunciates everything, I always guessed him to be the nerdy black kid from rural Ohio who doesn't have any other black friends. Once he got mad, the accent has been lingering. This show is getting intense. I'm glad that there's one show that's creating some depth in their characters, cuz it sure as hell ain't happening on SGU.

I started watching The Wire after the series was over, so this will easily be my most anticipated season premier for a drama. It's just miles ahead of any other non-HBO/Showtime show if you ask me.
Though I should say I've never watched Mad Men, which of course I hear great things about.
