Edit: I also loved it when they did the Mexican song about Heisenberg with that mariachi band or whtaever.
What!?!?! That "Mariachi" band happens to be Los Cuates De Sinaloa and the music is called Narcocorrido. That is a FAR cry from Mariachi! That would be like comparing The Carpenters to Black Sabbath.

I love the music but only really noticed it the last year or two. Once they played Crystal Blue Persuasion I started to really pay more attention and I have loved all the song choices this year. I looked up a soundtrack on iTunes but want to wait until after this season so all the songs are included.

Thee Oh Sees' Tidal Wave in that poisoning scene in Mexico was a highlight.

I am torn as to whether to watch it in the room with everyone or cut myself off from everything in my bedroom and focus solely on the finale (well, as much as I can and still be sure the kids aren't killing each other).

haha just as long as you hear them, they're alright. it's when you suddenly notice the silence that you worry.

Agreed. For a finale where I didn't have any confidence of anything going into it, everything that happened just seemed like it was so obvious and right.
