I know there's no way to prove it (aside from having one of my family members make an account), but I called what was going to happen with Gretchen and Elliot as soon as they re-appeared at the start of the episode. Everyone else who I was watching with was hoping they would die. I did think it would come with them having to admit that he was a bigger part of the company, and that his family deserved some of their good fortune, but....close enough
Jessie choking Todd to death was cathartic, to say the least. And I absolutely loved the final scene with Walt walking around the lab smiling and touching things before he died. But the best part of the episode? Walt admitting to Skylar that he did it for himself. Because he liked it. In fact that whole scene with Walt and Skylar in the kitchen might be my favorite in the series.
I'd like to think that's not Aaron Paul acting but rather tears of sadness from him realizing he's going from Breaking Bad to that terrible looking Need For Speed movie.
When the title of the final episode ("Felina") was released, some sought clues in the Marty Robbins song "Feleena" while others were sure it was just Vince Gilligan deliberately misspelling finale.
the Marty Robbins tape (cassette? 8-track?) fell out of the Volvo's glove box
I wondered if that was just Gilligan & the writers quacking with the viewers. Whether intentional or not, it was just another in a series of "Aha!" moments that really made the writing in this show extra special.

Lithium has nothing to do with meth. I keep seeing this theory all over, just wanted to dispel it. The chemist in me has been hurting every time i see this. Sorry.

You might want to read up on your chemistry then :-P
Lithium metal is the most commonly used reactive metal in the clandestine manufacture of methamphetamine using the anhydrous ammonia method of production.
The lithium is what turned Walt's meth blue in the show.
Appearance: Lithium is a soft, silvery-white metal that becomes yellowish upon exposure to moist air. It is soluble in liquid ammonia, producing a blue solution.

Yeah, I just googled lithium and meth and a bunch of shit came up about making meth with lithium strips. One site called it the "nazi version" of making meth, which seems particularly apt.

Which would be great if he used the anhydrous ammonia method. He uses a P2P method.
I know there's going to be a lot of complaints about things (Walt not being the big bad in the end, how all the nazis except todd got taken out by the gun) but I thought it was perfect.
I think Jesse hit the nail on the head by pointing out that Walt had the most luck of anyone. When he tipped the thing in the car in the beginning to reveal the set of keys I immediately brought that up to my friend. Most luck in the world.
SO great
I loved this ending. Walt dies. Admits his faults. Finds a (brilliant) way to get his family money. Perfect.
