Counting Whiskeytown, I'd say upwords of 20. Maybe 22 but there were a few shows that don't count in my book. I wasn't all there and from what I heard neither was he.
My favorite show was the night at the 9;30 club where he got upset at the air conditioner because he couldn't hear himself and made the club turn it off. One of the very few timed I wanted to kill him, personally.

With out a doubt Jim James. I'm a pretty big MMJ fan. I'm a fan of M. Ward and I'm kinda late to the Conner Oberst party. But after seeing him a while ago ... I can say I'm a fan.

I miss Joe a lot too. What is your favorite Clash song, album and anything else notable that you would like to say about them. They are my all time favorite band.

London Calling will always be my favorite. Listening to that record straight thru I still find things that I've repeatedly missed. I still get goosebumps when I get 'Clampdown' stuck in my head. I'm gonna say 'White Man In Hammersmith Palace' as my song. I once played in a battle of the air bands where my band did that song and 'Train In Vain'. I'll get back to you on Strummer. For some reason the DVD that I'm thinking of ... Can't remember the title.
On a scale of 1-10, how stoked are you to be the BMOTM?
What's your favorite beer? Mixed drink?
I see plenty of upcoming shows in your sig... what was the most recent one you've attended?
I'd say an 8. Only because I'm sober. Let me get some beers and fire away.
Right now I'm going with the Troegs Troegenator. It's my old stand by along with Brookly Brown. The Trog is a wonderful Doppel Bock almost bronze in color and it will knock you flat on your ass.
I swore off mixed drinks awhile ago. I've had some less than desirable experiences while consuming them. If I had to I'd say Jack & Coke. I like those alot.
I go to so many shows. It keeps my sanity. I love to travel, as well. So this way I get to do both. The last show was Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit. Jason used to play in The DBT for a long time. Great stuff. And love the new record.
Give a brief review of the most pivotal show you can remember seeing in your younger years.
Are you a coffee drinker?
What's your most favorite city you've even been to?
August 8th 1988. Thats when I saw The Replacements for the first time. They played at this club called Trax,in Charlottesville,VA that doesn't exist anymore. When they got out of the van crushed beer cans fell out everywhere. I was 15 ... A few months from 16. Never before had I seen that. A band drunk ... playing?!? Took me out of my comfort zone. But after a two hour set litered with countless covers and where I heard I Will Dare for the first time ... I was converted.
You might say I am. Right now my favorite bean is the Guatemalan HueHueTanango. (pronounced waywaytanago) It's a lite roasted bean grown in the higher regions of Guatemala. Full body. Low acidity. It should have a hint of berry flavors. Do I sound like a book? I better. I've been a barista for almost 10 years.
Been to or lived in? We will go with lived in. Portland,OR. Go Beavers.
EDIT: Oh wait thats Eugene. PDX effin rocks.

Envy.
Since you've seen him a bunch, a few more questions about Dr. Adams.
What's your favorite Adams album? Could be Whiskeytown, solo, or with the Cardinals.
Do you think he would go over well at Roo? What stage/tent would he play?

Thoughts on the latest album?
Strangers Almanac, hands down. I listen to that album weekly. I love the contrast that it has between melody and just hard rocking. Right behind it is Heartbreaker. That album defined a period in my life.
I really don't give Cardinalology much thought, sad to say. It falls in with Rock N' Roll as I'm just not a fan. But thats just me. I'm sure there are tons of people that like it.
When Adams tors again I fully expect him to play 'Roo. I dont know where but I would imagine closing the Which Stage (pre-headliner). He was supposed to play with Phil Lesh at Vegoose a few years ago. So I do expect him to play when he tours.

^^I'll agree with that. I love Patterson but I wasnt impressed at all with that last record. However I love his new solo disk. But all said and done the last two Isbell records destroy DBT right now. That is a name I wanna see at 'Roo next year.
