1) I remember one time when my answer to this question was Pluto... poor Pluto I guess Jupiter.
2) Pesto
3) Chocolate.
4) People still use blank CDs? Haha I don't even know a brand of them off the top of my head, to be honest.
5) Waffle House. Coincidentally, it's also my favorite place to go at 4 am when I'm all sorts of inebriated. It's fun when I do that and then go to breakfast the next day and the same people are still working.
When you settle down in your own house, what colors will you paint each room? (this is moreso advice because I can't decide but whatever )
If a member of Phish died, would you be upset if the rest of the band continued on under the name?
What's your favorite flower?
Analog or digital clocks?
What's the worst injury you've ever had?
Headphones or earbuds?
Generally, do you like going out or staying in?
Do you think Camp Rockin' Maniac is going to be a whole lot of madness?
1) Let me get this straight... You're asking a guy for interior decorating advice? Umm... white? Maybe some light yellow? That's all I got... I'm lame in that department
2) That's a tough question. I'm inclined to say no, however it definitely wouldn't be the same. I think ideally I'd like to see them do one last tour following the incident... But really each member of that band is irreplaceable, in my opinion.
3) Canna (Not gonna lie, I browsed through multiple types of flowers just now before coming to that conclusion )
4) I like digital for ease of use, but some analog clocks can be pretty cool. I guess when it boils down to it, I gotta go with simplicity. Digital.
5) I've been lucky with injuries in my life. The worst was a foot injury which for whatever reason I refused to go to the hospital for, so I hobbled around on it for a month or so before it "healed" itself. I always swore it wasn't broken or fractured, but looking back it very well could've been
6) Earbuds are what I use, but nothing beats a quality pair of nice headphones. I'm just a cheapass.
7) I like going out, but to small gatherings. I just hate having to clean up my own place after everyone else's drunken messes
8) I'd say madness is an accurate description there.
Who would you rather have sex with, Rosie O'Donnel or Whoopie Goldberg?
Is there an option of gouging my eyes out with a wooden spoon, leaving splinters where my eyes once were? And then having a rhino come and headbutt me in the nuts to where I can never even think about sex with anyone ever again without suffering from a groin hemorrhage? I'll take that option.
If not, I guess whoopie. Duct tape could only do so much to Rosie.
The more unique, the better. It doesn't necessarily have to be the most expensive thing - though it certainly can be, if that thing is one of a kind or rare, or is something that you take great pride in. I'm looking less for "I have an awesome car" and more for "I have a drumstick I caught at a concert because I'm so freakin' tall".

;D This makes me proud. Please stop by for a drink (or whatever) there Cheeky.
Hehe, thanks deary I actually have no idea where you guys were planning to camp or anything, I've just caught some random scheming posts and it made me laugh. I think it's awesome you guys have been friends for so long too. It's soooooo cute

We're in car camping wherever they stick us. Just look for the illuminated flag that would offend your parents. That's us.
What are the three coolest things you own? The more unique, the better. It doesn't necessarily have to be the most expensive thing - though it certainly can be, if that thing is one of a kind or rare, or is something that you take great pride in. I'm looking less for "I have an awesome car" and more for "I have a drumstick I caught at a concert because I'm so freakin' tall".
This one took me a while to think of 3 badass things that I have really. But in order from most badass to lesser badass I'd have to go:
1) A true 5-wood, as in "wood" golf club. It's got the screws still in the face and everything. It was given to me by my grandfather shortly before he passed away a few years ago. I've only hit one ball with it, just to try it out. I took it to a course and was about the right distance out and pulled out the club thinking what the heck and hit the sucker flush as can be, and the ball stopped just inches from the pin. One of the greatest shots I've ever hit in golf. The club was immediately retired after that one swing. Maybe it's more sentimental, but I like to think that story is one of the most badass legacies I can think of in regards to my grandpa
2) My Taylor 714 acoustic guitar. I guess this would go under your category of "most expensive thing" and, although not rare by any means it is my pride and joy. I worked and saved an entire summer and winter salary from waiting tables, put myself on such a frugal budget that you'd think I was unemployed living on the streets. But I really wanted that guitar, and I didn't care sacrificing my social life in the midst of high school to get it. Finally one day I went in and paid for it in cash... $527 of which in $1 bills. Yeah, they hated me, but I didn't wanna waste the time to take it to the bank to get it exchanged
It's purrdy, even after 5 years... see? ;D
3) *nerd alert* The book Cradle to Cradle, by Michael Braungart and William McDonough. This the environmental science/sustainability nerd in me coming out. I dunno if anyone here knows about this book, but it is a practice in sustainability in itself, in that the book isn't made from paper but rather plastic... although you can hardly tell by looking at it and flipping through the pages. When I was given this book for my class this past year, my professor said this was the only book in which we were encouraged to try and ruin by the end of the semester, and if we did then we would automatically get an A in the class (a few guidelines were set in that, obviously... ruling out chainsaws, explosives, etc.). I've done so much torture to this book that I never thought possible. I ran over it with my car, I put it under a sink and ran water over it for several minutes. I poured half a pot of old coffee on it. My classmate who was a bit more determined than I threw his in the toilet, pissed on it and flushed it only to retrieve it and after some washing it was good as new. It is, without a doubt, the most badass book ever. And it's a good read, too... on top of all of that!
What's the best advice ever given to you that you didn't take?
What's the nastiest thing you've ever had to touch?
How do you take your coffee?
What animal do you most relate to and why?
What is your opinion on capitol punishment?
What's the best venue/location that you've seen a show? Who played?
Best advice never taken: "Don't even try smoking cigs" I don't regret ever smoking cigs, but I sure do wish I hadn't blown hundreds of dollars on them in my life.
Nastiest thing to touch: Myself at the end of Bonnaroo 07. I was absolutely disgusting.
Coffee: The only way anyone should have their coffee... straight from the pot. No cream or sugar allowed in my house.
Animal most related to: I guess dogs. I don't know why, I just like them and usually feel like I have a connection with most dogs I've ever encountered. Plus, I love to do nothing but eat, sleep, and make loud noises all day.
Capital Punishment: I think this might've already been asked. I think it's reasonable for certain crimes, but I also think that a life sentence to prison could be a harsher punishment than execution. I think I'd rather be put out of my misery in a painless manner than rot away behindi bars for who knows how many years until eventually I die.
I really like the Charlottesville Pavilion. I've seen a couple shows there, the first one I saw there was Guster with Ray LaMontagne opening for them (who stole the show, in my opinion). But my favorite show I've seen there without a doubt was an evening with My Morning Jacket
when you are at brunch will you scream out this string of syllables?
WEEEEEWALLLAWALLLACORNCATGLIBBBERDYGOO!
I'm still recovering from Starscape, I still have to mow the yard, and I haven't even began packing yet. And I'm planning on leaving in 5.5 hours. On a scale of 1-10 of awesome, I'd give myself a 7. Pretty good considering my circumstances. Ask me in about 30 hours that same question and I'll probably be in the triple digits
I don't plan on dropping by the brunch, but I might have to yell out those random syllables at some point in time throughout the weekend.
Alright so despite my undying urge to throw Mike Gordon on a song or two, I stuck to the rules... but ppptthhhh on you for that! Can somebody get in the works to make this happen? I'll buy your Roo '11 ticket if you arrange it And yeah, I totally stopped listening to MMJ after arranging the first two sets and put on some Bisco and it's painfully obvious... but you can't tell me that won't be a ridiculous encore that would have you on your feet worshipping all that is man ;D
