Phish @ Knoxville was most definitely the best show. Possibly the greatest show I've ever been to period, but that needs more contemplating and some relistenings to verify. I walked out of the show wounded and grimy and I hadn't even made it to the farm yet ;D
Your name came up at the brunch, as Fishingmaniac & I were enjoying his lovely Glacier Bay rum concoction... I believe your absence entered the conversation with the phrase "Speaking of lightweights..."

I was out having a joyous time all over the farm. I didn't really drink much at all this weekend, although the guy next to us at Phish was giving people a drink of his "instant retard" beverage was quite delicious. Who knew that sprite, kool-aid, and everclear made such a bubbly combination.

LMAO... was it orange?? I'm pretty sure that guy was our buddy Fathead, or one of his camping buddies. We also had some of the Instant Retard at my camp but it was stolen on Saturday.

I couldn't quite tell the color... i thought it was a bit closer to red at the time but it could've just been that it was dark. The dude had short-ish blond hair I think. And he was pretty wasted. And he may have snagged an orange lighter from us ;D

Well I got shafted by the TN beer laws when I found out I couldn't buy beer at Walmart at 630 am. So all the beer we had was like a case and a half or so at our camp. It wasn't really a priority though, and I never had a problem getting a beer when I wanted one

^^Is that Starr Hill brew? I didn't have any at Roo but it sounds really familiar, and if it's Starr Hill then I've had it before cause they sell it here in VA

So long as you're not lovin' someone of the same gender, I'd say that VA leans more towards being for lovers. There's too much moonshine throughout the state to be for lightweights.
So is this going to just be a Q&A about beer and calling me a lightweight for rest of the month? Cause if so I think I'll just go ahead and call my month to an end early cause it really isn't as fun or thought-provoking as it once was for me at this point.

^^I generally don't mind it so much as long as it's limited to a short exchange of comments and I can't really hear it over the music. When you're seeing shows with friends you can't possibly expect to remain quiet and not talk to them throughout the show, if anything just to say "oh my god this is incredible" and whatnot. The only thing that I notice that really bothers me when people talk is when people set up just a few feet from the tapers and yap inbetween songs and during slower parts of songs. If you're near a taper I think the courteous thing to do is to remain pretty quiet the whole time or else move a bit farther away. Overall though it really isn't a huge issue to me, although I've never been the victim of a ruined show because of people talking.
Although there were some kids at the beginning of Friday's Phish show who were just sloshed and were shouting the lyrics to songs along with Phish at the top of their lungs who were getting a bit obnoxious
This is sort of a cliche question, but I always like to hear peoples' answers.
If you could have dinner with any two people living or dead, who would it be?
Adam Richman (Man vs Food) and Julius Caesar. Adam Richman always gets the hookups on the best food joints in town and I'm always curious how well I could keep up with his appetite. And I just think Caesar would have a glorious feast with people serving us and I could begin my plotting to take over the world and run a few ideas by him.
I think I've read just about every book I own more than once. I don't own that many books I guess, but yeah I usually enjoy reading them two or three times. I always end up missing something my first read through
What is your favorite Inforoo thread, currently going or no longer active, other than this one?
There was one a while ago that I remember laughing hysterically over, but for some reason I cannot recall what thread it was and I can't seem to find it going through some pages. It doesn't help that I really don't even remember what it was about, other than I thought it was hilarious. So, I guess for now I'm gonna go with the Phish at Roo thread. It's provided a few laughs as well as being filled with people being converted to some quality Phish fans. It's nice to read, and anytime my opinions get people even slightly riled up I always laugh a wee bit
Should we start taking new nominations here? Or are we issuing a repeal on term limits?
Yeah if anyone who is actually interested in taking the next spot says so then that would be good with me. I can't remember how we're doing it... do I pick the next person or does the board vote on the next person? Either way, knowing who all would be interested is a good place to start I suppose.

Yeah I take no offense, I'm bored too. A week is too short but a month is too long. Although, I guess I started my month early so maybe I have been around for a whole month. Either way, my first suggestion would be kdogg. If anything, he seemed to be the most interested in being in the spot. So kdogg, if you wanna take the hot seat go for it. If not, I'll find someone else
