Oh dear God no Radiohead. I can't for the life of me figure out the appeal of those guys, even though people whose musical opinions I generally respect, are obsessed with them.
My buddy at work likes Warren Zevon's "Excitable Boy." Page would have some serious fun with that one.

anyone heading out from VA? Looking for a ride, I'll be in central VA but my car is 15 years old and I dont trust it to get to cali. so if anyone's heading out from a 5 hour vicinity from the Roanoke area I'd pay for gas.
it just dawned on me yesterday that a good friend of mine who recently moved to INDIO could mabey hook it up with a couple 8 tickets. his dad gets free tickets to coachella every year so i figured i would c whats up. Turns out he has a feww tickets "lying" around that he said he would love to give to me he just has to make sure its cool with the old man.
Holy shit i will phlip the phuck out of this goes through. All you Coachella fags better b ready for the ROO boys to come get down for some Halloween madness

This is what I was referring to.
Also I am very aware that 8 and Coachella are different. However Coachella people hold the grounds where the festival is held in the same regard as the farm, so if you don't think there will be comparisons to the festivals, you are wrong.

Hah, I live two hours south-west of Indio, yet this will be the first time I've ever gone to the Coachella grounds. Awesome.
Anyway, I'm so excited for this. Totally buying my friend a ticket, too. He's never seen Phish, and he's spent all year locked up, so this'll be a huge treat

Bottom line im broke as a joke right now but i just have to WOOK out and make this happen. I can hardly afford my plane ticket....and i wont be taking more than 75 $ with me. I JUST GATTA GO GET FUNKY.

aw man an albany show would be key. just got back from moe.down and decided to do moe.'s halloween show in albany to soothe the wounds from selling my festival 8 ticket. at least ill be at a show rather than at a lame bar in a costume crying about not being able to go to indio. haha. trying to also do harvest fest in maine at the beginning of oct, i need one more festival before it snows

Any of these would make me happy...
Possible Albums List:
Black Sabbath – Paranoid (yes, yes, and yes! Heavyyyyyy Booooooots of Lead!) Boston – Boston (just listen to this album and tell me this would not make for one sick effing party....get to Foreplay/Long Time and tell me NO) David Bowie – Ziggy Stardust (would be amazing, but unlikely) Elton John – Goodbye Yellow Brick Road (EPIC Page show! Page side RAGE side!) Fleetwood Mac – Rumours (that funky Mike bass on "You Make Lovin Fun" would be the business! Plus its one of the albums everyone would know every single song) Grateful Dead – American Beauty (duh.) Jimi Hendrix – Are You Experienced? (Trey fest, "Red House" ends the world) Jimi Hendrix – Electric Ladyland (see above, insert "Voodoo Child") Led Zeppelin – I (the opening notes of this or the below album would induce spontaneous combustion) Led Zeppelin – IV (see above) Metallica – Master Of Puppets (only just because.....I mean seriously its Master of Puppets, and for godsake...ORION) Neil Young – Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere (this almost might be my number one vote if it were not for that album one more below called Meddle) Pearl Jam - Ten (Trey goes off once again, faces are melted) Pink Floyd – Meddle (if there is a god, god will allow this to happen......E C H O E S) Queen – A Night At The Opera (not a top choice, but a epic possibility nevertheless) Radiohead – Kid A (if they even attempted to cover this modern masterpiece they will have forever solidify themselves as one of the greatest bands on the planet, and this set will have gone down as one of the most amazing live music performances of all time....I'm jus' sayin') Rolling Stones – Exile on Main St (lovin' cup anyone?) Rush – Moving Pictures (this could be done justice, and I'm pretty sure no one would complain) The Allman Brothers Band – Eat A Peach (really only because its another band that pretty much plays on all cylinders, I mean seriously everyone will get their turn here, Mike might be the odd man out, but damn can you imagine Page on those keys?!) The Band – The Band (another set I imagine Page killing it) The Beach Boys – Pet Sounds (I think this is a very likely set, almost the sleeper IMO) The Clash – London Calling (I would enjoy it, but I honestly don't hope it happens) The Doors – The Doors (I don't think this is even a realistic possibility, but I could explode if it were to happen) Tom Petty – Damn The Torpedoes (would make for a fun show, not much of a mindblower, just a good time) Van Halen – Van Halen (Trey EPIC shred fest of insane proportions!)
I bet it is The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and The Spiders From Mars. One of the all time best albums, I heard Moonage Daydream the other day, and realized how perfect Phish would be for it.
