Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
sunday also has One eskimO - a good male/female guitar indie folk group... er, for lack of a better term.
i had no idea plastikman had a setup like that. annoying. the less i know, the less conflicts i will have
edit: just listened to the whole OE album - their single is not representative of the whole. they are a band destined for an afternoon spot in a festie - sort of reminds me of james blunt and ray lamantonge...
^ Yeah, I could've gone on NOT knowing about that and had a terrific Sunday. Now I'm like "f*ck, I don't wanna miss that" but there's no way I'll skip Gorillaz for it.
I can't wait till the place explodes when Little Dragon's part in the Gorillaz "Empire Ants" hits.
YES. I was worried because it didn't show up on their first couple rehearsal shows setlist but they played at eventually.
Also poster with connects to Goldenvoice, mod over on the board says he wouldn't be surprised if it sold out today. For those last minute stragglers it might be time to decide.
The main stages of music are all over by 1AM, but in the camping area on Friday & Saturday night the sound will go 9pm to 3am to the tune of these beautiful lineups:
Friday April 16:
* Mary Anne Hobbs * Daedelus * The Gaslamp Killer * Nobody * Sam XXXL * Ras G B2B SamiYam * Nocando
Saturday April 17:
* Flying Lotus * Jakes * Nosaj Thing * The Professionals * Take * Free the Robots * Deco B2B DLX * Kemst
…with KUTZ just added to the lineup as well! See you in the desert!

So I actually might end up going after all. I'm going to try using a buddy pass which is a much cheaper plane ticket but it's standby only. After going to so many roos, coaches and lollas it just feels weird not going to at least one of the big three this year. If I had known the roo and lolla lineups would turn out this way, I would have this all planned out long ago. Hopefully it doesn't sell out.

Yea Coachella is definitely the best out of the three. It's really not even close.
i was totally bragging. im sorry. but you guys are the only ones who would care! people in my office barely know radiohead...
regarding coachella - we going to have a little inforoo meet and greet? maybe figure something out after the schedule drops? or a campground party?
Totally up for a meet and greet. And yes, would probably be easier to coordinate our individual schedules after the all important "schedule" drops next week. I can't believe it's just a week away. I still have Bonnaroo excitement, cuz it's Bonnaroo, but this is really the highlight of the year for me and my gf.

Holy sh1t, it feels like a weight has been lifted from my shoulders. So I bought my plane and festie ticket and it just about drained my bank account (2 months ago) so i thought I'd wait until i got paid again to buy a camping pass ($50). When I went back 2 weeks later they were SOLD OUT! What kind of logistics is this? Selling out of camping room? I've went to Coach before but never camped (the whole no in-out-in turned me off) but this year I'm counting on it.
Anyway, people have been selling these passes on Craigslist and E-Bay for up to $1100! The average was around $800 for a while, total price gouging. Deal after deal was falling through until tonight when my buddy in LA scored one for $300. I know it sounds stupid to be so happy about getting something for 600% face value, but damn.
Everyone have a great time at the fest!!! I wish I could go. I have been to two of them and yes, Coachella (like the Roo) is a special time and place ...cr****
btw - the Atoms for Peace show was good, if a little over bass-y. but i was getting sick, so take it with a grain of salt. i enjoyed it, even if i was in the rafters. im curious how it will work at coachella since the setlist was the entirety of the eraser then random radiohead. if he only gets an hour, will he do just the eraser, or more of a greatest hits thing...

Cool I didn't remember that you were going to see Thom. Sounds like they were pretty good eh ... I saw Thom solo and with Neil Young and it was pretty great. No not Coachella or the Roo. There are just too many things going on so far this year so nope ... About 5 years ago I went to 4 big fests and 120 concerts. I am such a loser lately grrrrrrrrr .... Never say die ;D
Btw... get well dude with Coachella less then a week away !!!
Are you all planning on doing an Inforoo meetup? I haven't been on in a while but i'm down to have a few beers with ya Thursday night or something. Im taking a little drive to J Tree when I get to Palm Springs then hopefully setting up camp around 7'ish.
How many people from here are going?
Jigawig Idio Minneapolis Roo (what time does your flight leave from there? I'm flying out of MLP too at 7a Thurs) Jeff P Schmee No D ncbst3 ORLY Stone Fury
